About the Opportunity

The Regional Operations Manager is a senior leadership position wholly responsible for the performance of multiple fresh produce production sites and the supply chain to and from, to deliver exceptional yield, quality, service and commercial outcomes for the business. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and leading a large, seasonally fluctuating team, you will be accountable for regional business planning and execution, people development, resource planning and the leadership of continuous improvement initiatives.
 
You will ensure that your individual site managers are consistently delivering on targets relating to safety, productivity, service and quality in line with broader business objectives, and proactively developing and implementing improvement plans for their own operations. You will lead Workplace Health, Safety & Environment (WHSE) performance across your region, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability, and ensure that sites are appropriately resourced from a labour and equipment perspective.
 
The Regional Operations Manager will develop, deliver and manage annual OPEX budgets for the region and as a member of the senior leadership team, be actively involved in long term business planning activity. Key to your success in this role will be your ability to couple innovation and continuous improvement with the leadership of a large geographically dispersed team.
The Successful Candidate

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of success in the leadership of multi-site operations previously and a large focus on safety and continuous improvement. Ideally from the primary production industry, you will present with strong leadership qualities and have built high performing team cultures in a variety of business environments. Operationally strong and commercially astute, your ability to get the best out of your people while driving brilliant business outcomes, will be the key to your success in this role.
