The Role
Responsibilities
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in functioning as the 2IC to the FC. Reporting to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Preparing accurate and timely financial reports.
- Managing month-end processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Supporting the annual audit process and ensuring compliance with statutory obligations.
- Providing financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have
- CPA or CA qualification
- At least 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a medium to large organisation.
- Strong technical accounting skills and a good understanding of compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
