An established debt management firm is seeking a Senior Bookkeeper with expertise in Xero and MYOB to join their dynamic team in North Melbourne. Responsibilities
Manage and reconcile client accounts using Xero and MYOB.
Prepare and process invoices, payments, and financial transactions accurately.
Perform bank reconciliations and ensure meticulous record-keeping.
Generate financial reports and provide insights to support client decision-making.
Assist with payroll processing and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Collaborate with the accounting team to deliver exceptional client service.
Stay informed about industry regulations and best practices.
Requirements
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a bookkeeper, ideally in public accounting or supporting small businesses.
Advanced proficiency in Xero and MYOB, including payroll functions.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations.
Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
Relevant tertiary qualifications or bookkeeping certifications.
