About the role
Are you an inspiring finance leader with a passion for collaboration, strategic planning, and fostering a culture of growth? Join AGL as our Senior Finance Manager - Group Planning & Reporting, where your financial expertise and leadership will empower others and help shape meaningful insights that guide decision-making across our business.


What you'll be doing
As a valued member of the Group Planning & Reporting team, you will:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting are delivered with accuracy and care.
• Streamline and enhance reporting and forecasting processes to support better business outcomes.

• Take the lead in coordinating and delivering AGL's half-year and year-end reporting, ensuring all outputs are presented with clarity and impact.
• Partner closely with the Customer Markets Finance team as well as the broader Finance teams and People & Culture, to align financial strategies with organisational goals.
• Manage and nurture financial systems, such as BPC, to support efficient and effective reporting and forecasting.

About you
What you'll bring to the table
You'll bring a unique combination of leadership, expertise, and emotional intelligence to this role, including the ability to:

• Lead and inspire a team of approximately four direct reports, cultivating a culture of collaboration, development, and shared success.
• Deliver AGL's annual budget, four-year plan, and quarterly reforecasts with a focus on insight and alignment.
• Provide engaging and accessible reports, Board papers, and dashboards that combine financial and operational metrics.
• Support leadership teams with actionable insights through the Risk & Opportunities process.
• Help prepare external presentation packs and guide key business units in completing representation letters.
• Oversee the scheduling of commercial finance activities and manage capital project governance with care and precision.
• Encourage continuous improvement in processes and systems to ensure AGL remains agile and innovative.
