Our client is a growing manufacturing ASX. They are deeply invested in the development of innovative and high-quality products.

Job Description

The Senior Financial Accountant/Junior Finance Manager will be responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Assist in preparing financial reports and projections
  • Accompany the auditors
  • Responsible for year end activities (reporting and statutory obligations)
  • Management Reporting
  • Budgeting, forecasting
  • Manage cashflow
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
  • Manage the fixed asset register
  • Assist with manufacturing accounting (costing, inventory accounting)
  • Manage ad hoc project accounting and analysis as directed by the Finance Director
  • Support in the development of company policies and procedures
  • Ongoing process improvement initiatives

The Successful Applicant

A Successful Junior Finance Manager Should Have

  • Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Ideally experience in manufacturing sector
  • Experience in a similar role
  • CA/CPA designation
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks at a time
