SEO Manager

The opportunity
As an SEO Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of SEO strategies, from conducting keyword research to creating content strategies, making on-page and off-page recommendations, performing technical audits, and reviewing performance metrics. You’ll build and nurture strong, collaborative relationships with clients, while ensuring that SEO strategies are driving measurable business outcomes. You will work on exciting, fast-paced projects that aim to push boundaries and deliver innovative, market-leading work.
Content Optimization
- Conduct keywords research based on volume, user intent, keyword difficulty, traffic uplift opportunities and competition analysis.
- Leverage content gap analysis to create valuable, SEO-driven content.
- Implement on-page SEO best practices, such as optimising title tags, meta descriptions, alt attributes, URLs structure and schema markups.
- Develop internal linking strategies for better site navigation and SEO performance.
Technical SEO Audits
- Perform audits to identify and fix crawlability, indexation, and visibility issues.
- Improve site speed, mobile responsiveness, and structured data.
- Demonstrate advanced SEO technical skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, indexing).
Link Building
- Conduct regular audits of the backlink profile to scrutinise the quality, relevance, and health of acquired links
- Conduct competitor backlink analysis and assess competitor link-building strategies, discerning valuable link opportunities, and identifying gaps your clients can capitalise on.
Client Relationship Management
- Plan performance reviews, offering insights on SEO impact and growth.
- Educate clients on SEO trends, algorithm changes, and content best practices.
About you
You are a strategic thinker with a solid technical foundation and a passion for continuous learning. You have strong SEO technical knowledge across a variety of industries, and experience with service or lead-gen clients is a plus, though we value diverse backgrounds and skill sets. You approach decisions thoughtfully and strategically, and you take pride in building strong, collaborative relationships with clients and colleagues. Your ability to understand client needs and exceed expectations is one of your greatest strengths.
Strategic Thinker: Develop long-term SEO strategies aligned with business goals.
Analytical Mindset: Interpret data and trends to refine strategies and decision-making. You will demonstrate proficiency in SEO tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, GSC, SEMrush, Ahref, Screaming Frog, etc.)
Effective Communicator: Clearly articulate SEO concepts and results to clients and teams.
Client-Focused: Understand client needs and deliver exceptional service and results.
Adaptability: Thrive in fast-paced environments, adjusting strategies as needed. Demonstrate understanding of search engine algorithms and adapt strategies to relevant updates.
