ABOUT THE ROLE

An exciting opportunity has become available within our business for an experienced State Account Manager to join the Operations team for a 12-month Parental Leave contract with an immediate start. The role will be based in Victoria looking after a territory in Melbourne metro (CBD and West). Occasional travel is required to service customers in the Bendigo area and also in Tasmania.


This role reports to the National Field Manager and is both a challenging and rewarding position. To meet primary objectives, the role requires the individual to use distribution, shelf management, promotional programs and initiatives at an account and field level, using efficient trade fund investment and category management principles in conjunction with the National Field Objectives.


The role will include, but is not limited to:

  • Ensuring the availability of relevant Beiersdorf Products within Pharmacy retail stores
  • Achieve cycle sales targets
  • Achieve new product distribution targets
  • Shelf management & in store merchandising
  • Communication/reporting via CRM and AI sales tools
  • State based Banner Group management and effective trade spend management


ABOUT YOU

We are seeking someone with a minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in a Pharmacy or FMCG sales environment. Other candidates with a strong understanding of the pharmacy market will also be considered. The successful candidate has the ability to work independently whilst also contributing to a positive team culture. A Tertiary qualification will be an advantage.


The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding people and relationship building skills. They will have strong communication as well as analytical skills complemented by efficient negotiation skills. An understanding of visual merchandising principles is valuable in this role. Finally, the successful candidate will possess relevant Microsoft Office knowledge and the ability to manage their territory with Salesforce CRM or similar.
