Strategic Sourcing Manager

Our client, a household name (ASX Listed) undergoing a transformation in Melbourne, is looking for a Sourcing Manager (Procurement) to lead various procurement initiatives focused on indirect expenses for the organisation, including but not limited to ICT, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Facilities Management categories.

This role involves building and maintaining a strategic sourcing pipeline, identifying optimisation opportunities, and achieving annual efficiency targets. The Strategic Sourcing Manager will mentor stakeholders during contract renewals and champion procurement policies and governance across the business, driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Capabilities:

• Extensive Strategic Sourcing experience across Logistics, Information Technology, Professional Services, and Marketing categories, ideally in a fast-moving consumer goods or retail environment.
• Experienced in evaluating and analysing pricing structures and models, including the review of alternative operating and delivery models.
• Comprehensive understanding of Australian Contract Law as it pertains to the purchase and supply of goods and services.
• Skilled in assessing opportunities and developing business cases to support strategic decision-making.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including options analysis along with solid commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and achieve strategic sourcing outcomes within defined project timelines.
