Day 2 at the First Nations Chamber of Commerce and Industry Summit in Gladstone, and we’re feeling energised and inspired!   It’s been an incredible experience connecting with industry leaders. The team – Stephen Smith, Regional Director of Manufacturing (North Region), and Jodie Luce and Mick Elliott from the Gladstone Manufacturing Hub – have had impactful conversations, exploring best practices in meaningful participation and engagement for economic development, with a focus on decarbonisation and ensuring First Nations involvement in major projects.   Now in its second year, the Summit’s theme ‘The Art of Doing’ challenges us to reimagine what’s possible and turn those ideas into tangible actions — exactly what our business-minded community is all about.   We’re excited to continue working alongside First Nations businesses, driving innovation and creating real change together.
