Many early-career women share how isolated they felt when entering construction, struggling to find their voice while transitioning from university or apprenticeships to the realities of navigating such a male-dominated industry. That’s where the First Five Program by Trellis Collective comes into play. As a proud supporter of Trellis Collective and the First Five Program for over a year, NAWIC QLD has witnessed the incredible impact this program has had on over 100 early career women in construction. It creates a space where young women can share their challenges, learn from one another, and develop the confidence to assert themselves in their roles.
