I recently booked the entire building and hosted a women's retreat (9 of us in total). While I had hosted a retreat the year prior, this was the first time I was doing all the planning & organizing myself. For the entire year leading up to the retreat, Orlando was very responsive and helpful when I had questions or needed something. Once we arrived, I was reminded of the absolutely stunning view and couldn't wait for the rest of the attendees to arrive so they could see it too. Orlando and his team went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make our stay perfect. From daily breakfasts, lunches when needed, evening aperitivos & delicious dinners to communicating and helping with our driver, making reservations and fulfilling every request on and off the menu. They were flexible and so, so accommodating. Orlando was a huge part of me pulling off an incredible retreat. Leaving all of us to feel spoiled by the views, the food and especially the service. I hope to bring many more loved ones & host more retreats at Locanda della Picca in the future. Thank you SO much Orlando for making our stay so incredibly special. See you soon ;)

Not just exquisite food in this splendid 5-room inn expertly renovated in Tuscan style, a stone's throw from Citta della Pieve. Wonderful view of the Crete Senesi which offers romantic sunsets! Warm and discreet welcome and impeccable availability! Wonderful breakfast upon awakening!

Modern room, well furnished but in style with the local architecture and equipped with all comforts, including a 55-inch television, which is certainly rare to find even in multi-starred hotels. Good breakfast served, available both sweet and savory. Definitely recommended and we hope to be able to try the restaurant in the future which was closed for holidays in this period.

La locanda della picca si trova a pochi passi dal centro di città della pieve, su un panorama stupendo, immersa nella natura...il proprietario, il signor Orlando, è una persona gentilissima e molto disponibile. Le camere sono ampie, pulitissime, dotate di tutti i confort. In ogni stanza ci sono un enorme televisore con Netflix incluso ed una macchinetta per il caffè. Tutto è curato e rifinito nei minimi dettagli. La colazione è buonissima ed abbondante. Notevoli la cioccolata calda e la crostata di frutta. Abbiamo anche cenato una sera al ristorante e devo dire che anche in questo caso l'esperienza è stata davvero molto soddisfacente. Ottime carni, primi ricercati... veramente una cucina straordinaria. Assolutamente da provare sono i ravioli di zucca con crema di gorgonzola e polvere di amaretto. Per noi è stata davvero una bellissima esperienza e se dovessimo trovarci di nuovo a città della pieve sicuramente non avremmo dubbi su dove dormire e cenare. Complimenti al proprietario e grazie per il bellissimo soggiorno.

Ottima struttura, dall'hotel si domina la Val di Chiana.Il Personale molto professionale e gentile ci ha convinti a rimanere a cena, eravamo in 7 e abbiamo mangiato magnificamente bene. Le stanze sono spaziose, pulite e molto accoglienti. Prezzi ottimi. Torneremo presto
