Access to this hotel was close to St.Regent's station, although a bit hindered by the building work going on. The room was simple and clean but the bedding felt cheap. There were no shops or restaurants nearby and I was told to book a table if I wanted to have dinner at the hotel, which was a little inconvenient. My booking said I wouldn't have air con in the room but I was in fact giving an aircon room...and you needed it! It's quite noisy in the early evening and from 7am, because you can hear the aircraft taking off and landing into London City Airport. I didn't think the hotel was particularly good value for money.

Very good hotel at the best value for money, very clean with a reception at the top. Perfect for a stay in London.

The only good thing was the parking . Staff seemed nice on check in but turned out to be different the following morning. We checked in and went out for the entire night and returned to sleep. Came down for breakfast before heading out for the day. Had been advised on check in to let Housekeeping know if we needed them that day etc ＞which we didn't ＞ so hadn't left the card on the door etc Had left the spare key in the room for the heating while we went for breakfast. We came up to find the key taken and house keeping had entered the room. The breakfast was a shambles. Lucky we only booked for 1 morning. Nothing was replenished. There was a queue for almost 15 minutes after 10am on a Sunday morning for everything to come out and be replaced but it tasted awful. Standards at this PI are definitely not good to others we have stayed at. The bed was not good either. 2 singles pushed together and not comfy at all. Overall not a great stay

Car park was free to Guests despite other reviews. Hotel tired needing a re-fit, not very clean generally. Bar area has threadbare, dirty and ripped seating. Bathroom basic with very deep bath, difficult and unsafe to climb into. Issues I had raised but not dealt with re additional towels and broken towl rail.Route down side of Hotel to DLR is not well lit with uneven flags, lethal at night.Ran out of Hot Food at Breakfast on Sunday, long queue formed for 10-15 mins waiting for Chefs to replenish. Food when arrived was good but sausages seemed different to usual, cheaper quality. The usual good choice of Hot and Cold food. Seems that we have to pay the Premium price for what used to be the 'Normal'. Basic price room is now sub-standard although bed still comfy.
