A delightful find, totally by accident-looking quickly for a 2 night stay while in Portugal and plans changed. Must have a car though as it is a bit out of the way. Rooms were large and well appointed. Comfortable and quiet. Good breakfast and convenient to Sintra and the surrounding area.

What a brilliant find, it really is a wonderful hotel. Breakfast is good and varied selection and staff are very helpful. You do need a car to get around the area. We did not use the pool as it was very windy and consequently it had alot of debris. But on the last day it was beautiful they do provide towels for the pool. Regarding all the staff they are always on hand to advise places to eat and excellent choices of areas to visit. The rooms are well laid out and modern.

Very nice boutique hotel. Authentic, not standartised hotel. We had a quite room in separate building. Clean, modern room. Very nice personell, very friendly. We got there late without a booking, and we were offered better rate by booking directly at the hotel than on other booking channels.

There was complete attention to detail. Crisp sheets, nice towels, proper duvet, king bed size, good room size, black out curtains, nice bathroom and walk in shower, very good build quality. Great pool with views. Beautiful fully restored historic building setting. Great breakfast with fresh fruits, fresh juice, great yoghurt, cereals, eggs n bacon, croissant, etc. Parking in premises. Restored chapel turned into lounge. They simply got everything right. Staffed by friendly and helpful people.

The building is very beautiful, well maintained as is the swimming pool. The room (an apartment with living room, kitchen and master suite with bathroom and dressing room) is huge and very nicely decorated. The bedding in the master suite is very comfortable, however, the sofa bed used for children, no. Free parking is a plus although there are plenty of spaces outside. On the other hand, no charging stations for electric vehicles. Very friendly staff, attentive and very good advice. A few negative points: the window in our bathroom was broken and patched up with tape. The lounge bar, although atypical, was closed in the middle of August. No catering service on site. Too bad! Finally, the breakfast is good overall with a nice choice of fresh fruit, cold meats and cheeses. Eggs and bacon are offered on the plate. On the other hand, the croissants and pancakes were not defrosted. Beautiful establishment but a little expensive compared to the services.

Very warm welcome, peaceful location, very decent breakfast. However room facing the breakfast room so a bit noisy. Smelled a bit of sewage in the bathroom when we arrived. Then, certainly a problem due to water damage still in the bathroom, the pillar on the window side quickly reseal and swollen and moldy baseboards on the dressing room side.
