the hotel chauffeur collection from airport was warm and friendly, As first timers to Egypt Amr, the chauffeur, was awesome he put both myself and my wife at ease immediately. On arrival we were greeted warmly and were brought to our room in no time. The housekeeper Elsayed had prepared the room beautifully. His team were attentive with a nothing too much trouble attitude. The food was delicious and room service excellent. I particularly recommend the lamb dish served in the Portofino restaurant. Ibram and his team were friendly and created an excellent ambiance. Whilst perhaps the rooms are a little tired, it was not an issue as the housekeeping is first class and the whole resort including the beach is kept spotlessly clean.

On first arrival very pleased with our choice. Our room was light clean and comfy. Staff very welcoming. The sea view fantastic. The food unfortunately let's it down we didn't have a hot meal in the 2 weeks we were there. Very bland. They have 2 restaurants that you have to book. Unfortunately the food again not hot. The only hot food I received was the ministrone soup. Whilst we were in the restaurant I witnessed a guy from the animation team attack another member of staff. He knocked him to the ground and continually kicked whilst on the floor. I have never seen a thing so awful. Have no idea what it was about but so disgusting behaviour. The main areas are in need of refurb. As around pool area. Very limited entertainment. Whilst we were there it was mainly Russian holiday makers so quite rowdy. Great beds and didn't have any trouble with noise. If you want to go outside the hotel, the hotel provide a taxi service very expensive but if you walk out of the security gate you can pick up a taxi half price.

We would like to say thank you to the people who helped us enjoy our holiday we stayed in room407 the gentleman who looked after us was El Sayeed a lovely man who created some clever towel art .the room was always immaculate. The Hotel itself is tired and needs a full renovation most of the features like water falls rivers cascades are all derelict and haven’t worked for years. The food is OK again the speciality restaurants Lebanese and Italian are excellent we managed 3 nights out off seven in them Another mention Viola a charming young lady who is a joy to talk to and book your reservation in the speciality restaurants.she has a great attitude and will go far. One more mention off the Goldspa in house spa facility. Wahed looked after us and also Taha great massages book through Wahed for a decent price.

Amazing place to relax and enjoy a sunny day,the beach is incredible clean and organise the manager of the beach Walid is a wonderful person doing a great job with the beach,gym etc,guys from lifeguard amazing also ,hotel is clean with nice vintage environment. Staff very respectful.Special Thank for Mohamed Ibrahim our waiter on the restaurant always running around to make everyone happy doing a very hard job and never show that is thired always smile and helpful.Food a bit repetitive but you always find something to eat.Thank everyone for doing a great job.

Excellent house keeping from Sayed, staying in room 417, always creating wonderful towel designs and making us laugh! Very kind and kept checking in on us and making sure we had everything we needed in our room. Always clean and tidy with air con. All staff have been absolutely fantastic. Very welcoming and entertainment is fantastic. The team always ask if we want to join in and there’s no pressure to join if you don’t want to. I’m so sorry I can’t remember names of pool and beach bar staff but all of them are a credit to this hotel. Food is very good, plenty to choose from and you will not go hungry! Food is served pretty much all the time. The pool snack bar is open twice during the day if you don’t want to go up to the restaurant. Spa & beauty salon - if you want good quality massage at amazing price book at the golden spa! Same with the beauty salon! Top tier service at great prices. You would not get this England!!! This will be my 8th trip to Egypt the reason I come back is because of the service. Everyone is friendly and no they don’t just want your money! Staff enjoying talking as they work is such a privilege. You can see and feel how happy everyone is to be here x
