Blossom Hill Tongli Reviews

A beautiful hotel located just next to the Retreat and Reflection (or Tuisi) Garden (退思园) and in the location of the Li Ze's School (丽则女学). Fantastic place to stay in the Ancient City of Tongli. The rooms are enclosed in the school's courtyard, providing a serene space and a sizeable garden to enjoy. The room was spacious with good amenities, and designed also to host a child as the third person. We travelled with our dog and the hotel staff were very happy to accommodate him and provided a small pet care package (nice touch!). The room needs a bit of a touch up (a bit older wall, television, and system) but nothing to complain about. What we really surprised with was the lack of a Do Not Disturb/Clean the Room Card, and the eagerness (borderline invasiveness) of the cleaning staff to enter the room despite us expressing we did not need any cleaning and being in the room. Overall, a great experience and we recommend it!

I love this hotel group. The service is impeccable. Came to visit Tongli because there is a Blossom Hill. I booked two rooms of the same type one for myself and the other for my parents. However since the bed is on an elevated platform it’s not appropriate for my elderly parents. The hotel immediately showed us two other rooms so they can accommodate my elderly parents.

Receptionist and Porter were helpful, staff hospitable. A must go for free tour 10am arranged by hotel staff. To help understand and view the other part of the girls school.

Very nice hotel conveniently located inside the Tongli tourist area. Hotel was originally a girls school and a nice place to visit. Staff also prepared quite some fun activities and makes us feel quite welcoming

Fantastic service. The staff always tried to anticipate our needs. Thanks to everyone. Great location. Rooms are clean and well layed out. Every need catered for. Loved the free drip coffee. Watch out for the mosquitoes in the warm months, but hotel supplied insect repellent in rooms. Loved our stay!!!

Review for Blossom Hill Blossom Hill Tongli: I recently had the pleasure of staying at Blossom Hill Blossom Hill Tongli, and overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I will stay there again if I visit Tongli. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the old town, which was a definite plus. The room itself was lovely, with a charming ambiance and tasteful decor. It was evident that attention had been given to the details, and the cleanliness was commendable. The bed in the room was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom facilities were also well-maintained and provided a touch of luxury. I appreciated the effort put into creating a comfortable and relaxing environment. One area where the hotel fell short was the breakfast. It was not held in the same location as the hotel, and reaching the restaurant required a long walk. Additionally, the breakfast options were limited to Chinese cuisine, which may not suit everyone's preferences. I found this to be a drawback as I would have preferred a wider variety of choices. On the positive side, the front desk staff was friendly and helpful throughout my stay. They were attentive to my needs and provided assistance whenever required. However, one disappointment was that while my friends received a lovely fruit basket in their room, there was none in mine. It was a missed opportunity to enhance the overall experience.

The advertising showed a restaurant on location. We were given coupon for a place far away and the meals were terrible. The location is amazing and the rooms were great. Don’t buy the breakfast, terrible.staff very friendly

My partner and I spent two wonderful night at Blossom Hill Tongli. Service was top-notch, room was comfortable and clean, and the hot tea in the lobby was a welcome treat after walking along the canals during the chilly winter nights. Beautiful setting!
