The Grand Palace - Thailand

The Grand Palace is the most famous landmark in Bangkok. It was built in 1782 and for 150 years was the residence of the king but today, it's used for ceremonial events and ofcourse, an attraction for tourists. Grand Palace is considered Thailand's most sacred site so proper clothing and behavior should be observed within the premises. Men are required to have on long pants and shirts with sleeves. No tank tops. No Flip flops. Women must be modestly dressed as well with cleavage and shoulders covered, no sheer fabrics, and skirts below their knees. It is definitely my favorite place in Bangkok, the amount of history and amazing works of art took my breath away.
