A Cozy British-Inspired Cafe in Ekkamai with a Festive Holiday Twist

MiKA Bakehouse & Coffee - Ekkamai is a charming cafe in the Ekkamai area with a British house-inspired design and a touch of vintage charm. The cozy and welcoming atmosphere makes it the perfect spot to relax over a cup of freshly brewed coffee and an array of pastries. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The exterior has been transformed into a festive Christmas wonderland, featuring a giant red bow that adds a cheerful burst of color and pairs beautifully with the wooden facade. Twinkling garlands with ornaments frame the entrance, creating a warm and inviting holiday vibe. To top it off, a lush Christmas tree stands by the entrance, adorned with sparkling red and gold baubles, tinsel, and a golden topper that brings out the joyous spirit of the season. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I decided to try their Shio Pan with salt butter spread, the Truffle Shio Pan, and their orange tea. Their menu focuses on Korean-style bread with a touch of Japanese flavors. The Shio Pan, one of their signature items, was delicious. Shaped like a croissant, the bread was crispy on the outside, and soft and fluffy on the inside, with the butter’s rich fragrance balanced perfectly by the light saltiness on top. The Truffle Shio Pan was equally delightful, with a subtle yet aromatic earthiness that complemented the buttery flavors.
