Miaoying Temple White Pagoda

🌟Highlights: Miaoying Temple, commonly known as the White Pagoda Temple, was built in 1279 during the Yuan Dynasty. It is one of the earliest and largest Tibetan-style pagodas from the Yuan Dynasty in China. ❤Recommended reason: In 1271, Kublai Khan, the founder of the Yuan Dynasty, personally inspected the site. With the recommendation of the imperial teacher Phagpa, the Nepalese craftsman Anige designed the White Pagoda on the site of the Liao Dynasty Shakyamuni Pagoda. 👍Most recommended: The temple consists of the main courtyard and the pagoda courtyard. Along the central axis from south to north are the Mountain Gate, Bell and Drum Towers, Hall of Heavenly Kings, Dajue Hall, Hall of Seven Buddhas, and the pagoda courtyard.
