The Queen Mother was furious and banished the fairy boy to the mortal world, where he became the peak of Yaji Mountain. Yaji Mountain is divided into two temples, upper and lower, which were built in the Liao Dynasty and have been rebuilt many times. The upper temple is built on a cliff, and its scale and engineering difficulty are rare in ancient times. 🔺Worship 📍The five goddesses worshiped on Yaji Mountain have different legends and responsibilities. 📍Houtu Niangniang is the goddess of the earth, Taishan Niangniang is related to Mount Tai, the Queen Mother of the West is a goddess in mythology, Songzi Niangniang is in charge of fertility and children, and Yanguang Niangniang is related to the treatment of eye diseases.
