Since the hotel is converted from the Summer Palace, Qing Dynasty relics and Qing-style furniture decorations can be seen everywhere, giving the illusion of being in a Qing Dynasty palace. With a limited number of rooms, the spacious living and walking areas, along with the quiet and serene environment, provide exceptional living quality. The bricks on the ground, including those in the rooms, are the same golden bricks as those in the Forbidden City. You can experience the crisp, resonant sound when stepping on them, which are durable, smooth, and non-slip, making it particularly comfortable. Besides the convenience of accessing the Summer Palace at any time, the massage pool in the gym is especially relaxing, perfect for unwinding after a day of walking. Dinner is also a highlight. At Aman Summer Palace, you can quietly enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine. Traveling alone, I didn't eat much, so I ordered sweet and sour pork and asparagus stir-fried with garlic. The restaurant also provided warm double-skin milk as a complimentary dessert, which was very satisfying! I also participated in the hotel's ancient-style photo shoot activity. Knowing my schedule was packed, the considerate Aman Summer Palace staff proactively arranged the shoot after check-out.
