Belgrade landmark: Kalemegdan Castle

After leaving Timisoara and driving about 100 kilometers south, I paid a fee to exit the Romanian customs. Then when I entered Serbia, I encountered a female police officer checking my passport and saying "Hello" in Chinese! This is also the only time I have cleared customs all the way in Eastern Europe. It only took 20 minutes to pass all the levels for free ~ 100% friendly🇨🇳🇷🇸 The price of petrol in Serbia is equivalent to about ¥13 yuan. Then drive about 40 kilometers across the Danube Bridge and enter the capital city of Belgrade. We first went to Kalemegdan, Belgrade’s iconic tourist attraction and leisure place (free to visit). 🏡Kalemegdan is both a castle and a park. Also known as Belgrade Fortress. The castle is composed of huge stones. It has been an important place in JS since the era of Celtic rule. The architectural heritage of ancient Rome and the Austro-Hungarian Empire can still be seen today. From the city wall, you can clearly enjoy the beautiful scenery of the intersection of the Danube and Sava Rivers. There is a yacht dock on the Danube River. Cruise ships traveling on the Danube River usually dock here, and you can take a cruise to visit the five countries connected by the Danube River. 🕋The castle is composed of four parts ~ Lower Town, Upper Town, Little Kalemegdan and Big Kalemegdan, all of which are of great ornamental value. There are also some historical sites near the river. The terrain is somewhat similar to the Chinese mountain city Chongqing, which is also a mountain city where two rivers meet. Kalemegdan Castle is the most famous park in Serbia. Its winding paths, shaded benches and lawns, picturesque outdoor fountains, realistic statues and magnificent historical buildings... have become a popular destination for tourists and citizens alike. A must-visit spot to blend in with nature, relax and learn about history.
