Fuxian Lake at dusk, a moment of tranquility that stirs ripples in the heart

Recently, I've been wanting to escape the daily grind and seek inner peace and relaxation. No work stress, no money worries, just endless lakes or seas, sitting under the sun, doing nothing, watching the shimmering water. As a spiritual Yunnan native, Fuxian Lake is a perfect choice. This freshwater lake in Yuxi, Yunnan, is the largest deep-water freshwater lake in China. Upon first seeing Fuxian Lake, I was struck by its clear blue waters, crystal clear to the bottom, shimmering under the sun like a giant blue mirror. No wonder the ancients called it "a vast expanse of glass." - By chance, a local recommended taking a boat to Gushan Island, where the scenery is even better. Sure enough, I was enchanted during the journey. The lake is wide, and the breeze is refreshing. Gushan Island is lush with trees and flowers, like a green pearl in the middle of the lake. There are also ancient temples on the island, with simple and elegant architecture and a strong incense atmosphere, giving a sense of tranquility and peace. - Fuxian Lake is charming because of its winding shoreline. On the golden beach of Luchong Scenic Area, lying down is a dual release of body and mind. The sand is fine and golden under the sun, contrasting beautifully with the clear lake water. The red beach, with its unique red color, contrasts sharply with the surrounding green mountains and water, adding a special charm. - Can you imagine? The abundant sunshine and lush greenery here are different from Hangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing, and all the cities I've visited. My room has a great view, and the lakefront doors and windows are why I chose it. I open the windows and doors, and outside is the calm lake, like a washed blue sky. Water birds fly low over the water, occasionally pecking at the water. Witnessing all this at sunset, I felt a momentary urge to cry. Every sunset is beautiful, and I'm glad to meet you today.
