Step into the land of Yunnan, and let your soul bask in the healing sunshine!

In 2024, the most unforgettable experience for me was the solo trip to Yunnan. Yunnan, a land full of mystery and infinite charm, is like a fairyland that calls to my innermost desire for freedom and beauty. When I first set foot on the land of Yunnan, I was greeted by a unique atmosphere. It was the breath of the majestic Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake, which made me instantly realize that I was about to enter a dreamlike world. Arriving at the ancient city of Dali, it was as if I had stepped into a time tunnel. The winding bluestone road under my feet carried the traces of time, and each brick was like an old man who had weathered the storm, silently telling ancient stories. I strolled through the city, gently touching the mottled walls with my hands, feeling the history flowing through my fingertips. The people in the ancient city were at ease, and the small shops along the street were full of life. Here, time seemed to slow down, and I could temporarily forget the troubles and pressures of life and enjoy the tranquility and comfort. Erhai Lake is the most dazzling gem that nature has bestowed upon Yunnan. The sparkling lake surface, under the sunlight, was like countless broken diamonds shining, making it hard to open my eyes. I rode along Erhai Lake, with the breeze brushing my cheeks, bringing a touch of coolness. The lake water was crystal clear, reflecting the blue sky, white clouds, and the outline of Cangshan Mountain, forming a beautiful picture. By the side of Erhai Lake, I found a small café, sat in the outdoor seating, tasted the fragrant coffee, and enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Erhai Lake. At that moment, I felt as if I had become one with nature. Xizhou Ancient Town is a treasure of Bai culture. Walking through the ancient town, I was captivated by the unique charm of Bai architecture. The exquisite carvings and the houses with flying eaves and upturned corners all showcased the wisdom and artistic talent of the Bai people. Walking in the alleys of the ancient town, I could smell the aroma of tea, which was the Bai people frying tea leaves. I walked into a teahouse, tasted the authentic Bai three-course tea, and felt the philosophy of life of "bitterness, sweetness, and aftertaste." This trip to Yunnan was a healing journey for my soul. In the busy life, we are always troubled by various trivial matters, and our souls gradually become exhausted. Yunnan, like a paradise, allowed me to break free from the shackles of life and immerse myself in the beautiful scenery of this land of colorful clouds. Here, I regained inner peace and love for life. Every scene was like a good medicine, healing the wounds in my heart. I knew that this journey would become the most precious memory in my heart. In the future, whenever I felt tired and confused, it would be like a beacon, guiding me to find the home of my soul.
