Exploring Grampians National Park: My Favorite Park in Australia!

Known for its incredible natural beauty, the Grampians are a haven for hikers, nature lovers, and adventure seekers. One of the park’s highlights is The Pinnacle Walk, a must-do hike that rewards you with sweeping views of the entire range. Start at Sundial Car Park for an easier route, or take the challenge from Halls Gap for a longer climb. Along the way, you’ll pass dramatic rock formations and scenic lookouts. For waterfall lovers, the Grampians offer many beautiful cascades, including Mackenzie Falls, one of Victoria’s largest and most stunning waterfalls. It’s perfect for a picnic and easy to access. Fun Fact: This was the first place I ever got to see kangaroos in the wild! If you also want to see them, your best chance is at sunset, when they gather in the open grassy areas—an unforgettable sight. Tips for Visiting: 1. Start early to avoid the heat and crowds, especially in summer. 2. Bring sturdy shoes, as the terrain can be rocky and uneven. 3. Pack plenty of water, snacks, and a camera—you won’t want to miss the views. With its many waterfalls, wildlife encounters, and breathtaking vistas, Grampians National Park remains my favorite escape into nature.
