Nowadays, many people go to Shaxi Ancient Town, but ignore the other beautiful scenery of Jianchuan. Jianchuan Ancient City, Shibaoshan and Jianhu Lake are all places worth visiting. The ancient city retains original ancient buildings without excessive commercialization, and there are also many former residences of celebrities. Shibaoshan has a thousand-year-old grotto group, which is breathtaking. Jianhu Lake is an undeveloped lakeside. There are not many leaves in autumn and winter, but it is very comfortable on sunny days. Imagine how beautiful the lush leaves would be in early autumn! Jianhu is only a few kilometers away from the ancient city of Jianchuan. There are buses to the county town, and you can also use Didi to take a taxi, and the starting price is a little more. However, when placing an order on Didi in Jianhu, you may have to wait for a while for a driver to take the order, possibly because there is not much demand. It's best to place your order in advance. Hitchhiking in Yunnan is very convenient, especially in Lijiang and Dali, two popular tourist destinations. I made ride reservations from Lijiang Airport to Jianhu, and from Jianchuan Ancient Town to Shaxi Ancient Town, and someone took the order within a few minutes. There is also a minivan special line from Jianchuan Bus Terminal to Shaxi. Although the area of ​​Jianhu Lake is not large, perhaps less than one-fortieth of Erhai Lake, its original ecology is what I like most. On a sunny day, the old sheepherder by the lake, the lambs foraging, and me who just wanted to be in a daze were all bathing in the sunshine and enjoying the quiet time. The long hours can be depressing, but it's nice to relax in such an environment.
