Kazbek, the most beautiful snow mountain in the Caucasus.

On a long journey across the Eurasian continent, Kazbek in Georgia fulfilled my three wishes at once: golden snow mountain, sea of clouds at sunrise, and the monastery of the Lonely Planet. 🌸Transportation ❤️It takes about 4 hours from Tbilisi to Kazbek. Take a minibus to Kazbegi at Didube Bus Station in Tbilisi. ❤️The minibus fare can only be paid in cash. The minibus leaves when it is full or at the scheduled time, and will not wait for passengers. ❤️If you have a suitcase or a large backpack, you will be charged an additional 5 GEL for luggage. 🌸Accommodation I stayed at Kazbegi Inn, a great guesthouse with a balcony facing the snow mountain. You can see the golden snow mountain in the morning and the sea of clouds passing by the balcony. It is amazing. There is a kitchen where you can cook for yourself. 🌸Golden snow mountain I was very lucky to have good weather and see the whole snow mountain. 🌸Sea of clouds I was very lucky to see the sea of clouds coming from the distant mountains. 🌸Monastery on the top of the mountain ❤️You can hike from the town at the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain along the path, which takes about 2.5 hours. The mountain road is steep and has a lot of gravel. ❤️There is also a shuttle bus from the foot of the mountain to the monastery, which costs 20 GEL for a one-way trip. The bus takes the mountain road and the journey takes about 15–20 minutes. ❤️The best photo spot of the monastery is the parking lot on the way up the mountain. It takes about 10 minutes to walk from the top of the mountain to the parking lot. 🌸The best photo spot of the snow mountain Rooms, the most beautiful hotel in Georgia, is located at the end of the village. It has a great view and a great environment, and is a great place to take photos.
