One of the best recreational beaches

The castle is really impressive and well worth a visit. After a fairly long and steep walk up you are rewarded with the most amazing views of the sea and the city. Every part of the castle can be explored, including the ramparts. A combined ticket for the Alcazaba (which to note cannot be accessed on the way down from the castle) offers great value for money and enables you to bypass the long queue. The castle has a small museum inside but the main reason to visit is for the spectacular views of the city and beyond.
