🚤Irozaki, known as the last secret place in Minami-Izu, is one of the most popular scenic spots in Minami-Izu, with its magnificent rocky coast, white lighthouse, and mountain and sea shrine. 🚤It is recommended to sit on the left side of the bus to Irozaki and on the right side on the way back, so you can see the long coastline. 🚤After getting off the bus, you will arrive directly at the visitor center, where souvenirs and light meals are sold. Go through here and continue along the road to the sea, and you will reach the lighthouse. The lighthouse is not high, and you can walk around it in a few steps. From here, you can see the vast sea near Irozaki. Compared to the sea at Cape Tsumekizaki, the sea at Irozaki is a deeper blue. The sea water constantly hits the rocky cliffs of the coast, giving you a sense of the original power of the sea. 🚤Continue along the approach to the shrine, and you will reach Kumano Shrine, which stands on a rock at the end of Irozaki and is a place to pray for marriage. Next to the shrine, you can see the Izu Seven Islands. 🚤Return to the visitor center, take a short break, wait for the return bus, and end your trip to Irozaki. 🚃Transportation in Izu is not very convenient, but it is not complicated once you understand it, as long as you check the timetable in advance. The main transportation in Izu is the Izu Kyuko Line, which runs from north to south.
