Most of the Qinhuai River is located in Nanjing, and it is the largest regional river in Nanjing. Historically, its shipping and irrigation functions have nurtured the ancient civilization of Jinling. It is known as the mother river of Nanjing and is famous in history as "China's first historical and cultural river." Nanjing Confucius Temple Qinhuai Scenic Belt is a national 5A-level tourist area that integrates natural scenery, landscape gardens, temples and schools, cultural entertainment, shopping, and food. The scenic area is centered on the ancient architectural complex of the Confucius Temple, with the Qinhuai River as the axis, starting from Dongshuiguan in the east and ending at Shuiximen in the west. At night, the area is bustling with people and dazzling lights.
