Shanghai Middle House Hotel

As the Shanghai branch of the House Collective, I have been wanting to check it out after experiencing the Temple House in Chengdu. This weekend I had some free time, so I decided to visit. Initially, I wanted to bring my pet, but considering the terrace suite would be too hot, I didn't book it. The room I stayed in this time was a 70-square-meter 01 type. The room is not very large, but because it is a corner room with windows on two sides, the lighting is very good, and the view is also nice. The overall color tone chosen by the Italian designer is relatively dark, so the photos taken may not look very good, but the actual visual experience is acceptable. Of course, the apartments in the Middle House use a brighter color scheme, which makes them look more like Bulgari. Additionally, the room has yoga dumbbell equipment, allowing for light exercise with the five channels on the TV. This is a feature not found in other House Collective series. Location: The geographical location is excellent, arguably one of the densest dining areas in Shanghai. The core business district of West Nanjing Road ensures that food, drink, and entertainment are all available. Public Area: The ceiling chandelier at the entrance is stunning, and the artwork and sofa layout in the lobby create a homely atmosphere. The pool is nice, but it would be better for swimming if it wasn't sloped. The adjacent hot tub offers high-power massages, including neck massages. The gym is a bit small. The lounge on the third floor is very beautiful, with the flames from the fireplace matching well with the black color scheme, making it perhaps more atmospheric in winter. Service: The front desk guest relations manager is very nice, enthusiastic, and attentive. They are generous with the gifts and try to meet all requests without making guests feel uncomfortable, reaching almost C7 level (J Hotel should learn from this). Dining: The breakfast at Cafe Grey Deluxe is of high quality, although not as good as the Temple House, but definitely among the top 5 breakfasts in Shanghai. The other two restaurants, Frasca and Sui Tang Li, are also quite good.
