The Last Hike of 2024 - Meiwuling Ancient Path & Archaeological Site Park

To commemorate "2600" in advance (^_-) After following a few places for a few days, I finally chose a one-day trip to Shaoxing - "Meiwuling Ancient Path" & "Fenghuangshan Kiln Site Archaeological Site Park" route. - Meiwuling Ancient Path - Meiwuling Ancient Path is located in Shangyu District, Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province, with a total length of about 5 kilometers. It starts from Meiwuling Village, Shangpu Town in the east and ends at Changtang Village, Changtang Town in the west. It was an important traffic route in ancient times. There are several pavilions and rest platforms along the way. You can look into the distance, view the lake, and listen to the stream in the mountains and forests. Climb up the ancient path, pass through the cedar path and the Anti-Japanese path, and the moss on the stone walls on both sides records the changes of time. Along the Meixi River, you can rest on the arch bridge, meditate in the temple, rest in the pavilion, and view the scenery in the pavilion. The main attractions are: Qima Bridge, Chenghu Lake, Bamboo Path, Meiwuling Post Gallery, Humen Valley, Juxian Terrace, Red Path, Shixue Temple Ruins, Shijian Snowfall, etc. It takes about 3-4 hours to complete the whole loop, depending on your physical strength. - Fenghuangshan Archaeological Site Park & Shijing Reservoir - Located in Dashanxiaowu Village, Shangpu Town, Shangyu District, Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province. The clouds and mountains are intertwined, the mountains and rivers are beautiful, the four seasons are lush, and the birds and flowers are fragrant. The park covers an area of 26 hectares and belongs to the cultural display section of the Porcelain Culture Town. It has Fenghuangshan, Jinshan, Niupushan Kiln Site, and other important archaeological sites of Yue Kiln in the early days. After entering the scenic area, you will be attracted by the beautiful scenery like a classical oil painting when you climb up a small slope along the road. - The towering Metasequoia trees stand on the blue waves, and the sunset shines on the orange-red leaves, which are particularly dazzling, beautiful, ethereal, and mysterious. It is also known as the "Kanas" of Shangyu by many photography and camping enthusiasts. Along the reservoir, the mountain trail extends from the foot of the mountain to the kiln site display shed. After visiting the kiln site, you can return to the trail and enjoy the "Kanas" of Shangyu along the 360° loop of Shijing Reservoir. It takes about 2 hours to visit the whole archaeological park.
