If you visit Takamatsu, you must try it! Ikkaku is said to be the most famous Honetsukidori restaurant in Takamatsu, so the wait time was quite long. We arrived around 8 PM and were told there was a 1-hour wait. However, when we arrived 50 minutes early, there were plenty of seats available. It seems like arriving a bit earlier would have been better! The young chicken is a safe choice for everyone. The old chicken is tougher and may not be to everyone's taste, especially for Koreans, but it was sold out when I visited. It seems that old chicken is more popular in Japan! It's really salty! But since the Torimeshi is also salty, I recommend eating it with onigiri 😊 Beer is a must!!
