Under the bright rays of the sun, the water and the surrounding plant life are painted exquisitely beautiful shades of jade and turquoise. Jiuzhaigou is a high-altitude climate, so there is a big temperature difference between early morning and evening. Be sure to dress in layers and pack warm clothing.

Review of Chengdu Travel by Yourself EP.1 This trip, there were 4 of us. We searched for information and planned everything ourselves. We went for 6 days and 5 nights, excluding the departure and return days, November 16-23. Jiuzhaigou, Huanglong, Dagu, Four Girls, Chengdu DAY 1: Arrived at Chengdu Tianfu Airport at 2 am. When we arrived at the airport, went through immigration, washed our faces, and changed our clothes. At around 3:30 am, we took the airport bus, which is open 24 hours a day. There are signs for the Airport Bus all the way at the airport, so don't worry about getting lost. When buying tickets, there are staffs who will help you press the button (communication may be a bit difficult). - Leave the airport to go to the Chengedu East High-speed Rail Station. Get off at the first stop where the bus stops and drag your luggage across the overpass to the other side (you can drag it without having to lift it). Walk a little bit more and you will find the station. We arrived before the station opened, so we found something to eat in the minimart in front of the station. At 5 am, the station opened, so we walked into the counter to show our passports to the officers, and then went into the station. (It seems like they also limit the amount of water you can bring in because my sister brought water in and they asked to check if it was over the limit.) When you get to the station, look for the big sign in the middle of the station to find out which gate you need to go to. We booked a first class ticket for the high-speed train through 12306 for 164 yuan (our friend lost his passport before the travel date, so we ran into the problem that he had changed his passport and the passport number did not match the booking number. So we printed out the old passport and gave the officer a copy and the new passport when we went through the gate.) The train left at 06.14 on time. **It is recommended to go to the gate line a lot earlier than the scheduled time because there is not much space for luggage. And if you go late when going to find the cabinet, it takes**- Arrive at Huanglongjiuzhai Station at 7.53. We rented a car with a driver for 4 days, 1,000 yuan per day. Walk out of the station and go to the driver at the meeting point (the driver sent a picture and told us how to walk out of the station to meet him). When we met the driver, we left for Jiuzhaigou - At around 10.30 am, we arrived in Jiuzhaigou. There was a stop to use the bathroom once (🤢) We booked tickets through the trip. You can just walk in and scan your passport. We traveled in Jiuzhaigou on various routes. It took a long time to ride in the car. At noon, we ate in the food center and then traveled a little more - At around 16.00, left Jiuzhaigou Park to the hotel. We stayed at Jisheng Hotel. The room was good and did not smell of cigarettes. We thought breakfast was okay, but there was no coffee. We had to make it and eat it in the room. They have 3in1. The accommodation area has a restaurant and a mini-mart. We walked a bit and found a beautiful view - 18:00 The driver took us to eat a Tibetan buffet. The day was over 😅☺️ It was a bit long. I had the opportunity to travel to Chengdu to see the beauty of Jiuzhaigou National Park. I traveled from Chengdu by high-speed train to Huanglong Jiuzhaigou Station and then took a bus to the front of the park for another 2 hours. On the first day, I stayed at a hotel in front of the park. Then the next morning, I went to the park. Jiuzhaigou Park is large and divided into 2 Y-shaped routes. Shot on November 4! Jiuzhai Valley in autumn is like a fairyland, already a legend. || If I hadn't come here myself and seen this dreamlike scenery with my own eyes, I would have found it hard to believe that there is such a fascinating place in the world.
Before coming to Jiuzhai Valley, I had only heard from others that it was a tourist destination that people longed for. However, when I actually set foot on this land, I deeply realized that the shock that hits the soul can only be felt by personal experience. At this moment, Jiuzhai Valley is at the peak of the colorful forest season. The trees all over the mountains seem to have been carefully colored by nature, the magical painter, and intertwined into a colorful and beautiful picture. Every leaf is like a bright gem, red like fire, yellow like gold, and green like jade. They complement each other and form this beautiful scenery, making people linger.
📍Jiuzhai Valley Scenic Area
Here, I will share two ways to avoid the crowds:
✅Method 1: Timing is very important. You can choose to enter the park when it just opens and become one of the first visitors, so you can enjoy a relatively quiet atmosphere. Or choose to enter the park around 9 am, when you can usually cleverly avoid most of the tour groups and avoid the trouble of being crowded during the tour.
✅Method 2: Try the reverse tour strategy, which will give you a unique experience. The morning tour route is as follows: Take the sightseeing bus from the mouth of the valley, get off at the Nuorilang Center, transfer to other vehicles, and then start the wonderful tour. First, arrive at Rhino Lake, where the water is clear and reflects the colorful trees around, like a huge mirror, integrating the beauty of heaven and earth. Then come to Tiger Lake, the scenery of Tiger Lake is unique, and its unique charm will make you stop and appreciate it. Next is Spark Lake, where the sunlight shines on the lake, sparkling, like sparks jumping, lively and wonderful. Then go to Double Dragon Lake, which is named after two calcium carbonate dikes that resemble two dragons. Here you can feel the magic of nature. Then come to Bonsai Beach, where the trees are in various shapes, like natural bonsai, showing unique artistic charm. Finally, stroll to Reed Lake, where large reeds sway in the breeze, making a rustling sound, as if telling an ancient story. After visiting Reed Lake, walk back to Bonsai Beach and take a car back to Nuorilang. It should be noted that Jiuzhai Valley Scenic Area is very large, with many attractions, and one day is not enough to capture all the beautiful scenery. Therefore, it is recommended that you choose a few favorite attractions to visit according to your preferences. The attractions I chose this time are Five Flower Lake, Long Lake, Five Color Pool, Double Dragon Lake, and Reed Lake. These places are all unique and left a deep impression on me.

The hotel's scenery is perfect for photos (personally, I don't recommend taking photos in the scenic area due to the crowd, poor hygiene conditions, and time-consuming). The hotel also cooperates with the Jiuzhai Tibetan and Qiang Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum next door, where you can experience Tibetan paper printing, Tibetan incense making, etc. It's worth a visit.
🍲 Chinese/Western/Tibetan breakfast, Tibetan afternoon tea are all very distinctive. Yak yogurt and tsampa are freshly made by Tibetan grandmothers, and you'll miss them after eating 😋!! The Tibetan restaurant offers Metok stone pot chicken/yak meat soup pot, enough for 2-4 people. In the resort area, the taste and cost performance are top-notch 🔝.
🚄 Transportation: Chengdu—Huanglong Jiuzhai Station 2h, transfer to a tourist bus 🚌 to Indigo (Luneng Resort) about 1.5h.
⚠️ Notes: Large temperature difference between morning and evening, strong ultraviolet rays. Pay attention to wind protection, sun protection, and altitude sickness.
