The Distant Sanctuary of Celic Dere Monastery
Celic Dere Monastery, built in 1835 during the Ottoman occupation, means 'stream of steel.'
In the courtyard, there is a windmill, which might be the last functioning windmill in Dobrogea. The road conditions are good, and visitors are recommended to visit both the monastery and the Paleo-Christian church, which will undoubtedly provide a new experience that you won't regret.
You can purchase wine produced by the monks from these monasteries, as the monastery is located in the middle of the Niculițel vineyard. The road conditions are good, parking is convenient, but unfortunately, there are no restaurants along the way, so bring some snacks. It's a beautiful place, highly recommended.
