This was my first time staying in such a high-end hotel, and it was absolutely amazing!
Beijing Lijing Hotel Review: European luxury meets Beijing charm
Last month, I chose to stay at the Beijing Lijing Hotel, and I had an unforgettable experience.
💰Per capita consumption
Room rates vary depending on the room type and booking channel. The basic room type is approximately CNY1,500-2,500 per night, and the suite rate is higher. The hotel offers a wide range of dining options and high-quality service. Overall, the value for money is excellent compared to other hotels in the same category.
🏠Room type/layout
I stayed in a deluxe room, which was spacious and elegantly designed. The room was equipped with exquisite coffee capsules and Twining tea bags. The bedroom was classically styled and featured a comfortable seagull sofa and a small desk. The bathroom connected to the bedroom was very spacious, with a bathtub, shower area, and sink. The marble extended from the floor to the wall, and the gold bathroom fixtures and warm yellow lighting created a luxurious atmosphere. All rooms were equipped with L'Occitane bath products, silk bathrobes, and coral fleece slippers, combining beauty and comfort.
🛏Amenities
The hotel underwent partial renovations in 2024, and the overall style is European classical. The lobby is located on the ground floor, and the high-ceiling atrium and spacious, elegant stairs create a "grand" atmosphere. The rooms are equipped with high-quality bath products, and the soundproofing is excellent, so you can hardly hear any noise from outside. The hotel's fitness facilities and swimming pool are excellent, and there are facilities such as an indoor heated pool, hot and cold whirlpool, and sauna.
Soundproofing/hygiene
The soundproofing is excellent, and you can hardly hear any noise from outside in the room, ensuring a quiet rest environment. The rooms and public areas are well-maintained and there are no obvious problems with moisture or odor.
💗Other tips
1. Hotel location: The hotel is located in the heart of Beijing, adjacent to Wangfujing Street and Dengshikou Subway Station. It is within walking distance of attractions such as the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square, and the transportation is very convenient.
2. Dining experience: The hotel has several restaurants, including La Veranda (French cuisine), Haojiang Xuan (Jiangnan cuisine), and the lobby lounge. La Veranda offers exquisite breakfast, lunch, dinner, and afternoon tea services. The afternoon tea's Swiss roll, foie gras, and tuna mousse are all top-notch. In addition, the hotel offers a "one price, four meals" package, including breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner, which is very cost-effective.
3. Overall evaluation: Beijing Lijing Hotel is one of the luxury hotels in the heart of Beijing. It is elegantly designed, well-equipped, and offers excellent service. It is suitable for business trips and sightseeing. However, some rooms may have a slight new decoration smell.
Overall, this was a satisfactory stay, and the hotel's European style and excellent service made a deep impression on me.
