    I have come to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for the second time! This city is filled with multiculturalism and astonishing modern architecture, and I can't wait to start my exploration journey. In the morning, I set out from the hotel, and the first stop was the famous Petronas Towers. This iconic building complex is truly spectacular! You can take an elevator to the observation deck and overlook the entire city from the 88th floor. From up there, you can see the Kuala Lumpur Tower (KL Tower) standing tall in the distance, while below are the busy streets and modern buildings. I spent a long time here, enjoying the beautiful cityscape. 📝Tips: The standard ticket price is 80 Malaysian Ringgit (17 Euros), and the ticket price that includes skip-the-line and one-way transfer service is 100 Malaysian Ringgit (21 Euros). Both options allow you to ascend the tower and stop at the Sky Bridge (a double-decker glass platform between the 41st and 42nd floors, 170 meters high), and then proceed to the 88th-floor observation deck. I suggest you purchase tickets a few weeks in advance, as a maximum of 1,000 visitors are received each day. Dome views can be seen from colonial Sultan Abdul Sand with views of the newly built 118 Merkida skyscraper at the back – a tall building that stands out. In the add-on, you can view the site where you played cricket - Royal Selangor Merdica Square is a large colonial square in Kuala Lumpur. I assume that another time of the year, it should be very beautiful, but the day we went, all the grass and plants were dry. They were also doing construction work in some nearby buildings. Merdeka Square is a historical site where Malaya declared it’s independence here. The surrounding of Merdeka Square standing many historical buildings too, with colonial influences architectural, you will love to walk in within if you are a history lover.

    A day in Malaysia

    This trip, we checked in at Merdeka Square or Dataran Merdeka, one of the landmarks of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is an important historical site that commemorates the declaration of Malaysia's independence. The highlight of this square is the 95-meter-high Malaysian flagpole, which is considered the tallest in the world, and many beautiful colonial-style buildings surrounding the square. It is suitable for walking, relaxing, picnicking, and taking pictures. The day we came was Saturday evening, and there were many people out relaxing and doing activities in this place, giving a very lively feeling.     Strolling around Dataran Merdeka !

    Visited Dataran Merdeka today, also stroll around to take some photos at some photo spots like the 1894 St Mary’s Cathedral, River of Life (and the Masjid Jamek Lookout Point @ River of Life). The weather is great today. This area is very accessible as this is at Kuala Lumpur Central area. Pavilion, KLCC all these shopping locations are just mins drive away.
