Located on the west side of the city of Kota Kinabalu, Tanjung Aru Beach is undoubtedly one of the most popular landmarks in Kota Kinabalu for both locals and tourists. The location of the beach is very good, just 15 minutes drive from the city centre of Kota Kinabalu. At the same time, it is also very close to Kota Kinabalu Airport. Because there is a distance from the city, the tourists are not too many. Most of the people here are from Sabah locals who come here to enjoy a leisurely time, or what you often see is that many couples take pictures and walk on the beach.
