Firstly the hotel is charming in so many ways, the heritage decor with a hint of Neo classical luxury. The jazz performances in house. A great selection of wine and a perfect spa. #2024wish We stayed for 3 nights in Chuncheon Hotel Cozy. The hotel is 900 m from Chuncheon Metro station and also close to Chuncheon Dakgalbi Street where you can find a lot of eateries. My children love the big round bathtub in the bathroom. They even bought bath bombs from Daiso to put in the bathtub. Overall we had a comfortable stay but I wish there will be more space for hanging clothes. There were only three hangers in the room for 4 people. Simple breakfast consisted of bread, cereal and coffee is provided at the lobby every morning. My daughter forgot her favourite doll when we checked out. The hotel is conveniently located just few steps away from exit 6 (no escalator) and exit 5 (with escalator) of Chungmuro subway station. There is a convenient shop right next to the hotel. It is also within walking distance to the famous shopping district Myeongdong. The hotel is new and modern with minimalist design. Our room was clean and spacious equipped with all necessary amenities. I also like that the room was equipped with universal power sockets which is a life saver for international travelers. No issues with check in. We arrived a few hours early before the check in timing and we didn't request for any early check in. They let us in around 1 hour early without any charges. Among all the hotels, it is common that they charge at least 11 dollars per hour for early check in. Our room was clean. Not much view in the balcony. Water wasn't provided in the room. Could be better if there is more privacy for the shower. Other than that, I like the shampoo and body wash they provided. The apple tea at the lobby was good too. Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur, one of the top ranked luxury hotels in Kuala Lumpur, good location in city centre area, walking distance to Pavilion Bukit Bintang, and most of the shopping areas. Nuwara Eliya is situated at an elevation of 1,868 m in the misty hills of central Sri Lanka. It is known as “Little England” of Sri Lanka for its temperate climate and colonial architecture. We had a wonderful stay in Kent Cottage, one of the beautiful colonial style bungalows in the Little England Cottages. There are 4 bedrooms in the Kent Cottage. The room we stayed in had a king bed and an extra single bed. The bathroom was huge and came with a bathtub. The whole bungalow was elegantly decorated in English style and for once we forgot that we were actually in Sri Lanka! The whole neighborhood is gated and houses many other similar cottages surrounded by beautiful gardens. We had hearty and delicious breakfast served in the restaurant. Amazing Hotel!!! Would recommend to anyone who plan on going to Shanghai for a weekend. It's 5minutes walk from the East Nanjing metro station. It's on the pedestrian street so the taxi won't be able to drop you off infront by it's close to the street not more than 200m that you need to walk. The staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful, the room are big and clean, the bed is so comfortable not to mention the room with the bathtub. The hotel has loads of restaurants in close proximity and the Bund is like 200m from the hotel as well as shopping malls and shops. I saw some photos of this gorgeous hotel in Hangzhou online and I was so curious and wanted to see it for myself. So I immediately hopped onto trip.com to book a weekend stay and I was NOT disappointed. we booked the hotel through klook with the upgrade the n2 room . the check in experience was very nice , we do not have to wait for the check in and the reception guided us to our room as well . she also showed us where our kid can play inside the hotel with all sort of facilities. there was a mini playhouse , slime time experience and game room on the second floor where children could play there during the stay. we also got a mini kit with puzzles and colour book which was just fit to our 3-year old kid. for dinner our reservations already included a 3 course set dinner . we ordered a tuna and lobster bisque as appetisers, beef short ribs to be shared for two and the lemon tart and chocolate cake as dessert . for the kid we also ordered the macaroni and cheese with sweet potato fries and an orange juice ( total $201 upon Chek out ) . all the food was nice and actually we were all full despite it looks like not a lot of food ! one of the reason we chose this hotel was that we can have bubble bath in the bath tub . the hotel also provide bath salt so we could enjoy a nice evening in our room ! the next morning breakfast was a semi buffet breakfast in UG level. there were variety of pastries which all of them are nice ! my child also liked the donuts there ! it’s special that they also serve chia seed pudding in buffet breakfast and there were lots of fruits choices! we also got a tea set to take away home . the service here was excellent that we would definitely recommended to our friends with kids as well as furry friends ! #foodie #staycation #香港好去處 #birthday #celebration #bathtub #bubblebath #buffetbreakfast #november

Day 1 at Kuala Lumpur was awesome greeted with upgrade room to VIP Suite, it was super huge like own luxurious room to stay at. Only 3 of this kind available and only 3 lifts can access to this level also. Located at highest 29th floor. Living room area is huge, so does the toilet and bedroom. I feel so rich somehow. They used to have a movie showing at the pool area & offered activities in the hotel such as baking & painting. At the time I stayed (2022), they don’t offer any activites in the hotel anymore. They do, however, send you a digital guidebook by email which they call “Quincy Qurates” - recommending dining spots and activities where you can enjoy exclusive perks by showing your keycard. A few days before the start of my staycay, they sent me email so I can pre-register and choose my preferred 5 complimentary mini bar items. It was mentioned that booking for the pool & gym can be made via the front desk (1 hour slots) but when we got there, no booking was required already. I also haven’t seen anybody manning the pool or gym each time I went there on different days during my stay. The sauna and steam room were still closed as of that time. Despite a few “hiccups” during check-in and transferring to another room (when I had a friend stay during the 2nd night), we still enjoyed our stay albeit the not so fancy room. We appreciated the pillows we’ve chosen from their pillow menu (you can choose between a firm or soft one). It was also nice to have a good soak in their tub. Despite the hotel being a non-luxury one, they provided bath salts - which wasn’t available in other non-luxury hotels I’ve stayed in. Front desk staff and the wait staff at the lounge were all courteous and attentive to their guests’ needs. Kudos to Jacqueline and Gerlyn. Breakfast, canapes and cocktails were a delight! For a change, I didn’t have to wake up very early just to ensure I don’t bypass their breakfast hours ;) The hotel has outdoor seats and tables, good for relaxing and chilling with friends. The hotel’s location is good, it’s near shopping areas. You can have a quick workout by brisk walking to Paragon, Lucky Plaza or other shopping malls in Orchard. This is a nice hotel to stay in when you want to have a staycation and shopping spree. Squeeze it into the tub and let the water run. So much bubbles produced until you can be drown in it. This is done via the hotel group’s app. Staff at front desk are cheerful, courteous and very helpful. The hotel lobby is so big, grand and luxurious, with such beautiful chandeliers. My gosh! Even the inside of elevators are so posh in this hotel 😂 A butler assisted me with my luggage. I think nowadays, butler service is limited, compared to pre-covid days. The following are part of their 24-hr service based on the welcome letter issued to guests: * unpacking and packing of luggage * preparation of coffee and tea upon arrival and in mornings (6AM to 11AM only) * 2-pc garment pressing per day * shoeshine services For me, the Execute Deluxe Room was very spacious already. I can only imagine how their suites look like! Note that there is no USB port and there are only a few wall plugs/outlets. On the desk provided are complimentary disposable masks (2) & hand sanitizer. There is a seating area along the side, where you can see orchard’s skyline, as well as another sofa and table set at the foot of the bed, facing the big tv. Their tv have cable channels but no chromecast. I especially picked this room because for me, it has the best bathroom with bathtub aesthetics. There are two separate bathroom sinks and in it’s middle is the bathtub. The toilet and shower are on a separate area. I also like the small walk-in closet. I can spend long hours soaking in the bathtub, the bathroom’s ambiance is sooo relaxing! haha! The hotel gym and swimming pool are at the 2nd floor. Booking is done online via their app accessible via QR code. Allocated time for gym is an hour and fifteen minutes while that for the swimming pool is an hour. The gym is not that big but they have all the equipments I need. Social distancing is implemented so not all equipments can be used. Towel, bottled water, wet antibacterial wipes and hand sanitizers are available. I received a St. Gregory Spa Voucher for Christmas so it gave me an excuse to schedule a spacation at Parkroyal Collection Pickering 😉 (Because, when I schedule my treatments - usually in the late afternoon - I just sleep afterwards and do nothing! Haha!) I booked a month ago and availed of the following services: (1) 90-min Festive Glow (voucher not allowed; on promotion at SGD 198) (2) 75-min Thalion Facial (SGD 260, voucher allowed) There were two beds in the room (as you can see from my photos). The first one, where I had my body scrub. The second one, where I had my massage and facial. There was a cabinet where you can place your things and a drawer with lock to keep your valuables. There was also a closed shower area and a jacuzzi/whirlpool bathtub. No sauna in the spa though. Yvette (if I remember her name correctly), was my very good masseuse. Jasmine, did my facial. Kudos to these ladies, I got my much needed stress-reliever. My last massage was last quarter of last year so she really had to knead through those knots! haha. Both worked together when I was positioned face up so it’s like getting four hands massage. (Note: If you haven’t tried a four hands massage, please do!!!! It feels wonderful!!) I was asleep (again) before my facial was finished. Something lacking in this spa though - hot towels after the treatment (although my skin didn’t feel too oily after the massage) and offering of tea before or after the treatment. I think this is not usual for St. Gregory’s coz I tried the one at Parkroyal Beach Road and I don’t recall them offering me tea and hot towel as well. Either that, or I was just unfortunate not to be offered those. This pre-2022 CNY weekend up to CNY, I decided to go “hotel-hopping” by myself for some quality “me time”. SO/Sofitel is the third and last hotel I visited. It’s my first time in this botique hotel & fortunately, my room was upgraded (due to miscomm in booking). It was a perfect way to end my hotel-hopping as I enjoyed my very spacious room, complimentary mini-bar (sodas & snacks) and very big bathroom with separate areas for shower, toilet and bathtub. I have just discovered the joy of bath bombs and the room’s very spacious tub allowed me to soak very comfortably. I did this after going to their gym so I was in heaven!!!! 😍 The pool is fully booked already when I arrived so I was only able to use their gym. There is a sanitizer available in the gym but no towels or tissues to use so I can’t wipe the equipments before and after use (like what I did in Sofitel City). I resorted to just cleaning my own hands before and after using the equipments. Due to covid, I still would rather stay in so I really maximized my stay in the room. As you can see from my photos, I cannot help but feel pampered and relaxed just by the luxurious ambiance of the room itself! I have everything in the room and just had to order a club sandwich for dinner - which was packed/sealed safely and delivered to my room promptly. I only stayed overnight this time but I will definitely be back. Next time around, I will stay longer so I can explore the nearby-areas, like Lau Pa Sat, etc. and have repeated sessions in the bath tub 😉 For those who enjoy solitude & self-pampering, I strongly recommend this hotel. And when walked in the room, I was blown away. maybe because I hadn't made reservations and had no expectations, but I love and recommend this hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful and delivers are sent to your room. the breakfast area is small, but we didn't wait long to be given a table, besides that, it gave me time to take more pics in the lobby #bathtub
