Enjoy Christmas vibes at Raffles City mall!
The Christmas season is upon Raffles City shopping mall! You can really feel the festive vibes and atmosphere just walking through the different spaces. Many decorations are up and there are even interactive photo booths for the perfect Instagram opportunity!
I highly recommend this mall for shopping and dining as many big brands can be found here, such as Venchi Chocolate, Bacha Coffee and Armani. Also, this mall is connected to both Fairmont and Swissotel so it is very convenient to stay there!
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Where to find the best fish and chips in town!
Frying Fish Club is a fairly new fish and chips shop located at Owen Road in Singapore. They have different flavours to choose from, like seaweed, mentaiko and original!
The ambience is quite cosy, with a slight modern Japanese inspiration. It was nice and quiet on a weeknight.
If you are feeling up for it, you can even go for the premium fish that is specially flown in from Japan! It is an oily type of fish though.
We ordered some sides as well and highly recommend the delicious fried cauliflower. The sauce dip it came with was very savoury too.
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

🇵🇹 Historic Tram Line 1 in Porto
As a train enthusiast, I couldn’t miss the chance to experience the historic Tram Line 1 during my visit to Porto. This line is one of the few operational historic tram lines in the city, dating back to the late 19th century. It offers a nostalgic journey along the Douro River aboard a vintage tram, connecting the city center to the Foz do Douro area, where the river meets the Atlantic Ocean.
Route:
🌟 Starting Point: Infante (near the Church of Saint Francis in Ribeira)
🌟 Ending Point: Passeio Alegre (in Foz do Douro, near the mouth of the Douro River)
Tram Line 1 typically operates daily, with trams running every 20–30 minutes. Tickets can be purchased directly from the driver or by using an Andante card, a rechargeable card for public transportation in Porto. A one-way ticket costs €6 per person.
Music: Ice cream
Musician: Ilya Truhanov

🇨🇭 Cogwheel Train Ride to Mt Rigi
During our time in Lucerne, we visited Mount Rigi, often called the "Queen of the Mountains," as the journey was included with the Swiss Rail Travel Pass.
Our adventure began with a 30-minute train ride from Lucerne's main station (Luzern Bahnhof) to Arth-Goldau. From there, we boarded a cogwheel train that provided a stunning, scenic ascent to the summit of Mount Rigi.
The cogwheel train is particularly fascinating due to its use of a toothed rack rail system in the center of the track, enabling it to navigate steep gradients that standard trains cannot handle.

Cafe for Chocolate Lovers

Another cafe for chocolate lovers in Singapore is Lemuel Chocolate! The cafe is located at Star Vista near Buona Vista MRT station. The cafe has a factory where you can see how the staff working on chocolates. The cafe is nice and spacious with a friendly staff. There are a lot of tables and the chocolates on sale are on display. On my 1st visit, I ordered the chocolate coated madeleine and signature iced chocolate. The chocolate shell was too thick and the madeleine itself was dry. I liked the signature iced chocolate though especially the shavings. On my 2nd visit, I bought an iced orange chocolate which became my favorite so far and a box of bonbons as a gift for a friend. I will definitely come for a 3rd visit to try the bonbons myself.
