Swan Lake Animal Base, 天鹅湖动物基地, is located in Haikou, Hainan province. It’s an ecological park where you can see many animals, including capybaras, big turtles, swans, monkeys, and alpacas. The park is big, and it’s a fun place for families, especially with young kids. It is easy to spend around 2-3 hours there. My trip to Zoo Negara Malaysia was an absolute blast! As soon as I walked in, I was surrounded by the sounds of animals and the excitement of families exploring. The highlight was definitely seeing the giant pandas in their special enclosure. They were so adorable, munching on bamboo and rolling around—it was like watching a live cartoon! I also loved visiting the open Savannah area, where giraffes and zebras roamed together. Feeding the giraffes was so much fun, especially when they stretched their long necks to grab food from my hand. The lion enclosure was thrilling too, with the big cats lounging in the sun and giving us a few powerful roars. The reptile house was full of surprises, with snakes and cool lizards to check out. And I couldn’t leave without watching the animal show, where sea lions and birds performed amazing tricks. Zoo Negara is full of wildlife and fun activities. I got to feed kangaroos right from my hand and even took a selfie with a koala! This park has a whole bunch of things. It's massive and there is so much that can be done. Best part, it was free to enter. So it is worth the effort travelling to here. As it is somewhat located outside the city. Butit offers so much from gardens, zoo, karting track, bamboos, cafe's and kiosks. A lot of people around taking a casual stroll or relaxing in shade amidst nature. I loved the path around the lake. It's beautiful and you can circle the whole lake in an hour or so. Loved seeing animals too, there were zebras and I saw a giraffe for the first time. Such a huge and strange looking animal with a cute face. I think this was time well spent. If you have enough days for lyon and don't mind travelling to here. We had a fun day at Taipei Zoo despite the rainy weather on the day of our visit. Kobe Oji Zoo (神戸市立王子動物園) is one of the largest zoos in Kansai area. It was opened in March 1951. There are around 800 animals of approximately 130 different species in the zoo. There is also an area where visitors can interact with small animals up close. There is a Zoological Science Center, where visitors can have fun while learning about the wonders of animals; an amusement park; and the old, western-style Hunter’s House. If you're lucky enough, you can see giant pandas and koalas on the same day!
