There are tables and chairs available for outdoor dining. During my visit, I have tried the banana pancakes, the taste is quite similar to Malaysia's roti canai. So, this is my favourite night market in Taipei. And I say with focus on food. It does get a bit too crowded to walk around. But compared to the other more popular night markets, I think this night market is a good balance of things. It wasn't that difficult to get to. There is a subway connection. And post that a mere 5 minute walk. A temple at its's entrance and then you start will a visual of all the queing up. Most famously the pork buns right at the entrance. The food varieties are too many as it is the case with street food in Taiwan. The best in the world. I recommend taking/sharing portions and that way being able to try a variety of things. Mostly haunted by young people, still makes a bearable night market street food stop. The cloth shops here offered similar stuff as other night markets but in some cases the prices were slightly better. Walking around Myeongdong is a pleasant experience as many parts of the district are pedestrian-friendly. Below are some of my personal must-do's in Myeongdong: 1) HBAF Almond Flagship Store I bought the giant pack with 22 different flavours in mini packets. Do drop by this largest HBAF store to sample some of the flavours! 2) Daiso You can find the largest Daiso store with 12 floors near Myeongdong subway station. There is also another underground store near Myeongdong walking street. 3) Myeongdong Kyoja Michelin restaurant that you should not miss. 4) Fried Chicken with beer There are many similar restaurants in Myeongdong. We tried Kkanbu Chicken. 5) Korean Cosmetics Stores You can find all the Korean cosmetic brands in Myeongdong. #hotelreview We had a comfortable stay in GnB Hotel during our visit to Busan. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to Gukje Market, the largest traditional market in Busan. Another traditional market, Bupyeong Kkangtong Market, is also in the vicinity. The latter turns into a night market at night with lots of food stalls selling street food. Gamcheon Cultural Village is just 2 km from the hotel. The hotel is new and modern with minimalist design. Our room was clean and equipped with all necessary amenities. There is no universal power socket in the room but the hotel was able to lend us adapters. There are also many local souvenir biscuits shops near the entrance of the street. My favourite is the “三叔公” shop. I enjoy the peanut butter waffle biscuits from the stall. There are also many shops selling clothes and toys. I would describe the area as a upsize or upgraded night market. ohh~ there are also interesting trishaws rides around too.
