Visiting the most famous waterfall
Visiting Niagara Falls from the Canadian side was incredible. The falls are smaller than I expected but more powerful than I imagined, and the sound of the water is so loud—it really makes you feel the force of it. I got super lucky and saw a rainbow the whole time I was there, which made the view even more amazing.
A tip: bring sunscreen or a hat if you come on a sunny day. There's no shade to hide!
I could’ve just stood there for hours, watching the falls and the rainbow.

Discover the wild beauty of the crystal blue water and sandstone cliffs along Lake Superior in MI
Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, MI, USA
You have to visit Michigan and do a boat cruise to take in all of the beauty Pictured Rocks National Lake Shore has to offer. You can even see a waterfall which cascadeds 70 feet into Lake Superior, as well as East Channel Lighthouse, Miners Castle, Lovers’ Leap, Indian Head, Grand Portal and Chapel Rock just to name a few of the natural landmarks along these stunning rocks. The mineral-stained sandstone cliffs and Caribbean-blue Lake Superior stretch 42 miles between Munising and Grand Marais. When groundwater from the cliffs’ cracks drizzles down the rocks, stunning colors appear. Red identifies iron, black and white mean manganese, yellow and brown show limonite and pink and green show copper. It looks like a painting in some spots and absolutely beautiful, pictures don't do it justice and do not show the magnitude of how BIG the cliffs actually are. You have to check out the views from the top as well to put it into perspective. Don't miss this natural wonder of the great U.P.!

Stunning views of lost Paradise
I stayed in Canaima for a night before heading to Angel Falls, and it was totally worth it. The town is small but beautiful, surrounded by lush jungle and scenic rivers. The local villages are so friendly, and the vibe is really relaxed. I loved how close you feel to nature there.
We took a tour around the local falls and the riverbed, which was a highlight. The falls were stunning, and the boat ride through the jungle was a cool adventure. The area is peaceful, and the views are just incredible.
Staying overnight gave me a chance to really soak in the area before the big trek to Angel Falls. It felt like a perfect introduction to the wild, and I’m so glad I spent that extra time in Canaima. It’s not just a stop—it’s a place worth exploring in its own right.

The highest waterfall on earth
I flew into this tiny town called Canaima in Venezuela, and right away, I knew this was going to be an adventure. First, we took a boat through the jungle—super cool but also really hot and humid. The sounds of the jungle were all around us. After a short hike, we finally reached the spot where you can see Angel Falls.
When I saw the falls, I was seriously speechless. It was so much bigger than I expected, just this massive waterfall dropping from way up high. The sound of the water was so loud, but also kind of peaceful. It felt surreal being there.
One of the best parts? I swam in a little pool right under the falls! The water was so refreshing, and the power of the falls crashing down around me was just incredible. It felt like I was in another world.
Returning back was also fun, because we started to hike down late in the evening, after sunset. Jungle at night is a really weird place to be. It was fun though, even though it was a little bit scary. And then we spent the night at the camping grounds across the river where we slept in the hammocks.
I loved the whole experience—getting there, the boat ride, the hike, and finally seeing the falls up close. It wasn’t just about the falls, it was about the whole adventure.

The most stunning place in Argentina
Iguazu Falls is seriously amazing. The falls are huge, and you can get really close to them!
The Devil’s Throat is wild – the sound of the water is so loud, you can feel it. It’s hard to describe how impressive it is up close.
Everything around the falls is super green, which makes it feel even more magical. I was almost crying when I stood there, the feeling was just absolutely beautiful.
It does get a bit crowded, but it’s totally worth it. You can easily spend there entire day.
Tip: bring a raincoat or a windbreaker, you'll get wet numerous times during the day.

Chasing Waterfalls
We spent the weekend in Bend, Oregon. What a beautiful city. 🌆
Stunning views of sunset from the viewpoint in the city.
There is an amazing Gelato place called Bonta.
Enjoy a walk around the lake downtown, and enjoy a craft beer at a local brewery.
In the afternoon head to the edge of the city and enjoy chasing waterfalls. #travel #waterfall #oregon
Tumpak Sewu, Asian Niagara Falls
I'm not a fan of waterfall, but Tumpak Sewu took my breath away. Tumpak Sewu is an enormous waterfall that creates a semi-circular curtain of showers against a giant rock face. Tumpak Sewu is generally translated to mean ‘1000 waterfalls’ in the Javanese language and stands at a whopping 120 meters (390 ft)!
The waterfalls are magnificent. Path to the waterfall is a really wonderful experience, but prepare good shoes to walk in the water as there are parts that you need to move in the water. The hike is not that difficult. It’s worth to get close.

Seven Wells Waterfalls, Langkawi
Also known as Seven Wells Waterfall, Telaga Tujuh has the best views and natural pools are so worth it.
The climb is very very steep and we had to climb backwards because it was almost impossible to climb straight 🤪 and then there were 600+ stairs 😮💨
If you want to save yourself from all the climbing, you can visit the waterfall and have a nice swim in the "infinity pool" there.
But as the name suggests, there are around seven main pools or even more.
We went ahead and crossed 2 other pools, trekked through the jungle for an hour to reach this place, which had clean and chill natural water.
The fact that we had the pool all to ourselves and we got enough time to settle in and play around, was the highlight 😍

High Force, England highest
Amongst the Pennines hills of Northern England lies the River Tees and its impressive array of waterfalls culminating in High Force.
The walk from the car park follows the fast flowing river upstream alongside the narrow, deep gorges which it has created leading to a series of dramatic waterfalls, especially after high rainfall and storms.
Whilst in the area be sure to check out the beautiful town of Castle Bernard for a bite to eat #waterfall #Pennines
Gorges, rivers and woodland along the Devon Coast
Many people visit the North Devon twin resorts of Lynton and Lynmouth and their famous funicular railway.
A lesser known spot in the area is a walk along the national trust trail, traversing the Glen Lyn gorge. The trail itself is well maintained and can be tackled by most walkers.
Following the river along its journey towards the coast, you will come across dramatic waterfalls and towering gorges along your route.

An Ancient Village with a Waterfall in the midst of it
many of you may have seen videos on social platforms with the tagline "unreal places" - and this one is one of them. By the way, this place is real - It is Furongzhen or popularly known as Furong Ancient Town, aka virally known as Furong Waterfall Village.
Nighttime should be more epic with the lights effect, but I prefer to see things as it is and that is why, our videos do not have any special effects, and we took these videos as "what you see is what you get".
Other than lots of walking and struggling through several steep stairways to get to the highlight of this attraction, we have yo admit, this is indeed a nice place to visit. If you have the time, do stay in to get the daytime/nighttime effect.

Charming gem in Luang Prabang
Kuang Si Waterfalls are located in Luang Prabang, Laos. The waterfalls are absolutely stunning, with multiple levels of water flowing into many pools. I was amazed by the largest waterfall, it was incredibly beautiful.
There are different ways to reach the waterfalls. In my case, I rented a motorbike, which allowed me to stop anywhere I wanted to take photos. You can also go by van or tuk-tuk.
The hike to the waterfalls is very easy and suitable for everyone. At the beginning of the trail, there is a bear sanctuary where you can see many bears relaxing in their habitat.
I recommend this activity to anyone visiting Luang Prabang!

Rainbow falls at Mammoth Lakes: Yosemite’s underrated twin.
At the height of summer queues to get into California’s famous Yosemite national park can be anything up to 2 hours and with a $35 fee to enter many can be put off. However little over 30 minutes drive away you can find the stunning mammoth lakes. One of the best hikes is to take the shuttle to the visitor centre where a 5 mile (relatively easy) round trip takes you to the stunning Rainbow falls. Aim to arrive arround midday for the best chance to view the rainbow emitting out of the waterfall

#closetonature #100waysoftravel #naturebeauty #love_nature #waterfall #lake #croatia #plitvicelakes #plitvicelakesnationalpark
In late September, we visited the breathtaking Plitvice Lakes National Park, a true haven for nature lovers. The park is renowned for its cascading waterfalls and interconnected lakes, where the crystal-clear waters shimmer in shades of turquoise and emerald. As we wandered along the wooden boardwalks, we were surrounded by lush greenery and the soothing sound of rushing water. The park is vast, and we took a boat ride across one of the larger lakes, allowing us to fully appreciate the beauty of this natural wonder. Later, we hiked to a higher vantage point, where we were rewarded with a stunning aerial view of the entire park, showcasing its intricate network of waterfalls and lakes. Being immersed in such pristine nature was a truly unforgettable experience, leaving us in awe of the world’s natural beauty.
