Petrified Forest National Park
Petrified Forest National Park is indeed one of Arizona's most underrated gems. Many Arizonans are unaware of its beauty as it is often overshadowed by the Grand Canyon. But trust me, this park is worth a full day of exploration!
The scenery here is otherworldly, with vibrant colors and unique formations, making it a photographer's dream. I highly recommend downloading the audio tour app, which shares fascinating historical and geological insights as you drive and hike through the park, adding a lot of fun to your experience.
Don't miss the Blue Mesa Trail, a moderately difficult hike that takes you through stunning badlands with vibrant blue and purple hues. Another highlight is the Crystal Forest, where you can marvel at the incredible petrified wood sparkling in the sunlight.
If you're looking for a quieter, less crowded, historically rich, and surreal national park, this is the place to visit. A must-see in Arizona!
The alternative view
Yosemite is one of the most visited national parks not only in the United States but in the world. Of the millions of tourists who head to the Californian park each year the vast majority head to Yosemite valley to see the famous sites of El Capitan and Half Dome. Without a doubt these are phenomenal sites but that doesn’t mean you should discount other areas of the park.
Entertaining via the parks east entrance you will not only reach its highest point at almost 10,000 feet but will get some of the most dramatic views of the valley below whilst driving along one of the most stunning roads in the whole country #yosemite #califronia #nationalpark #voyagevibes

An appealing and challenging outdoor adventure@The Niah National Park.
#outdooradventure#nature#sarawak#nationalpark
The Niah National Park is nestled in:
📍98200 Miri, Sarawak.
The park is known for the site where the oldest human remains were discovered. It has multiple caves with impressive and archeological sites.
We had hikes about 6 hours to reach the Niah
Cave.
I literally love the natural surroundings, there is dense primary rain forest which is home to many species of plants and wildlife. If you are lucky enough, you can spot some wild animals such as Hornbill, Monkeys and various type of insects and snails.
One of the reasons Niah became World Heritage Site is there are 7 types of burials at the Hell Trench where the Deep Skull was found. I'm truly enjoyed learning about the 40000 year old Deep Skull. Overall, it was really an appealing and challenging outdoor adventure!
⏩ Visitors must register first, admission ticket for Malaysian is RM10, also prepare RM2 for the boat ride before the hike.
⏩ Be noted to bring a torchlight, drink and good walking shoes, plus gloves to hold on to the railings as there is a lot of bat poop.

Take A Break At Bedok Reservoir Park
If you're tired of the same old city attractions in Singapore, why not visit and dine at reservoir parks? One of the well-maintained parks in Singapore is the Bedok Reservoir Park. It's easily accessible via buses and mrt stations. The reservoir is a perfect running location especially in the mornings. Even if the sun is high up and hot, the water glistening due to the sunlight is still a sight to see. After spending some time at the reservoir, there are lots of food options around the park to tide your hunger. One recommendation I can suggest is Refuel Cafe. My sister and I loved the food here. And the location being in a residential neighbourhood with a queue just means locals love the food. Our favorite would be the the salmon and mash. Yum! Try it!

🇱🇰 Minneriya Tank
The Minneriya Tank is a remarkable ancient reservoir in Sri Lanka’s north-central province, near the town of Minneriya. Built around the 3rd century AD by King Mahasen, this reservoir was originally constructed to support agriculture in the region. It collects and stores rainwater from the surrounding hills during the monsoon season, providing essential water resources for farming and local communities throughout the year, even during dry spells.
In the dry season (July to October), the tank's receding water levels expose grassy plains, creating a lush feeding ground for wildlife, particularly Asian elephants. This unique ecosystem supports the annual “Gathering of Elephants,” a rare phenomenon where hundreds of elephants converge around the tank for water, food, and social interaction. The area also attracts a variety of other wildlife, including buffaloes, deer, and numerous bird species.

I climbed 1683 stairs for this view!
Torgashinsky ridge is one of the most popular tourist attraction in Krasnoyarsk, Russia. In 2021 the longest staircase in Russia was open here and now it attracts even more tourists. For many local people it became their favourite place for every week hike (you don't need to go to a gym after climbing 1683 steps!). This staircase connects two very popular tourist attractions: Torgashinsky ridge and Krasnoyarsk Pillars into a single tourist bundle. How to get: it takes only 20 min by car/taxi from the city centre (or you can get there by bus N°37). It's great to come here in the morning during weekdays (less people). But if you go right before sunset it's also great, you should try both!

My Taman Negara Adventure!
My trip to Taman Negara Kuala Tahan was an adventure from start to finish! Exploring one of the world’s oldest rainforests was incredible. I started with the canopy walk, where I got to walk high up in the treetops. The view was amazing, and the thrill of being up so high was unforgettable!
I also went on a jungle trek and saw beautiful plants, waterfalls, and even some wildlife. The sounds of the jungle were all around, making it feel like I was in a real-life nature documentary. We even took a river cruise, splashing through the rapids and laughing the whole way!
Taman Negara is full of fun, excitement, and breathtaking nature. It was an adventure I’ll always remember!

Hoodoo Wonderland: Discovering Bryce Canyon National Park
Bryce Canyon National Park is unlike anywhere I’ve ever been. Known for its unique hoodoos—tall, thin spires of rock that fill the landscape—this park feels like a natural amphitheater of red, orange, and pink hues. The formations, carved by years of wind and water, create a surreal, almost otherworldly experience.
I started my visit at Sunrise Point, where the morning light brought the hoodoos to life in shades of gold and coral. Hiking the Navajo Loop Trail was a highlight; as I descended into the canyon, I was surrounded by towering rock spires and narrow passageways. The Wall Street section, with its steep switchbacks and dramatic cliffs, was challenging but rewarding.
In the evening, I watched the sunset at Bryce Point. The changing colors over the vast landscape made for a breathtaking view, and it was incredible to see the shadows play across the hoodoos as the light faded.
Bryce Canyon is a true marvel, a place where nature’s artistry is on full display. Every view is unique, and the park’s peaceful, almost mystical atmosphere left me in awe of the natural world. It’s a must-visit for anyone who loves stunning landscapes.
Majestic Peaks and Untouched Wilderness: Exploring Grand Teton National Park
#traveldiaries#nationalpark
Visiting Grand Teton National Park was like stepping into a natural masterpiece. The towering Teton Range, with its rugged peaks and dramatic skyline, is breathtaking from every angle. As I hiked through the park’s trails, each turn revealed stunning views of alpine lakes, dense forests, and snow-capped mountains.
One of my favorite spots was Jenny Lake. The crystal-clear waters mirrored the Tetons, creating a surreal scene that felt almost magical. I took a boat across the lake to start a hike up to Inspiration Point, which offered panoramic views that were well worth the climb. The wildlife here is also abundant; I spotted elk grazing nearby and a moose drinking from a river.
Sunset at Oxbow Bend was another unforgettable experience. Watching the sun dip behind the mountains, casting golden hues across the landscape, left me in awe.
Grand Teton National Park is a haven for those who love outdoor adventure and scenic beauty. Whether hiking, boating, or simply soaking in the views, the park offers an experience of pure wilderness and tranquility. It’s a place that stays with you long after you leave.
