We enjoyed a great stay in Huaqiang Plaza Hotel. It is very clean and quiet, with spacious and comfortable rooms. The hotel is located in the center of the city, with Starbucks underneath the hotel, the electronics market across the road and right beside the metro station. Staff on reception were very helpful and nice. Lobby is on the 23rd floor and rooms starts from 25th up to 36th floor. Our room was on 28th floor and we had a great view! The take out was delivered by a robot! I liked it)) Breakfast wasn’t included in our room, but we paid extra 80 rmb per person to get a breakfast. Didn’t really like it, in my opinion it is poor for the western taste. We took a short 30 minute boat ride along the river and around the lake in the hot spring resort. You can book a place on the boat in advance at the hotel lobby desk. The boat leaves from the dock near the buffet breakfast restaurant. It glides along the river around the hotel apartments and villas and around the lake with the small tree island. You can see some beautiful old Chinese style buildings that are a restaurant and events area. The boat is small but comfortable and seats 8-10 people. Definitely worth a go if you come to this resort#newyearstravel l They also had fireworks for new years on the lake which were quite spectacular. #hotsprings #staycation

I have stayed in Yiwu for almost 2 years but this is the first time that I knew about this place. I was checking for some new places that i can go and this place is totally amazing! I was checking the aerial view of this place and it went out totally insane. The view from the sky is totally awesome! The park is so so so huge that it can accommodate a lot of families. Families can spend their precious time playing with their kids or leave the kids to play with all the facilities that they have. The place is free aside from some facilities that you need to pay just to get inside. I have often travelled to Jinan, but I was newly struck by the beauty of the city during this recent trip. It's a big city, it's a crowded city, it's a busy city, but just a stroll away, you could find yourself at the foot of a quiet and majestic hill decorated with ancient statues, or at the bank of a calm tree-lined canal. In my opinion, the 3 top places to visit in this city are: 1. Huancheng Park and the surrounding old town. The park consists of a network of canals dotted with natural springs and rock features. 2. Daming Lake is the crowning feature of the grand cultural complex in the city center stretching from its banks to Quancheng Square. 3. The final 'must-see' sight is 1000 Buddha Mountain. It's a small mountain to the South of the city, less than 5km from the city center. It's a charming site decorated by '1000' buddha statues, all different, some big, some small, some laughing, some sleeping. #newyearstravel #nyedestinations

Phu Kradueng National Park, again ~ There are a lot of people coming here because it's almost the New Year's time. The weather is very good and it's the same every time I come here, it's very tiring to walk as well. After visiting the Double Dragon Cave in Jinhua, there is a nice Buddhist Temple nearby. You can ride Y3 or Y5 bus from the bus station near the ticket office in the cave. Get down when you see the grand entrance where you can see long and tall posts. There is no fee when you get inside and the place is just quiet and many people are visiting the place to pray to their God. The place is quite huge because it is composed of a lot of big temples. Near the temple there is also a tall pagoda but we were not able to go and see the pagoda because we were running out of time and its time for is to go back home. It was actually very easy for us to get a Didi ride from Jinhua back to Yiwu.#urbanexplorer #newyearstravel #

This is by far my favorite hotel in Sanya. I love the design, the service, the location, the rooms, the food, the SPA and the free tennis court! so many reasons to go back to this place and surely I will❣ There is even an afternoon tea between 15:00 to 16:00 and a free flow sunset cocktail from 18:00 to 19:00 included in your room rate. During happy hour you can sit on the hotel terrace, listen to live music, enjoy the sunset and your lovely company! The rooms are very large and the bathroom is out of this world. If you have been to Hainan a couple of times, I recommend you to explore not only Sanya but go further towards the East part of Hainan Island. There is a small village called Wanning which is famous among the surfer community. Today not only surfers come here but anyone that is a fan of laid back vibes and easy going lifestyle. Century Park is the largest park in Shanghai with lots of people. But even though the park becomes crowded sometimes it is still a great place to go, there you can walk and enjoy the nature, there’s so many people with the kids. I spent about 3 hours walking, watching the diverse dancing groups practicing, pedalling around in a bike-car and going through the rides of the small amusement park. Century Park is close to the area of Pudong where the skyscrapers are, so if you want some exercise, sun and to see some greenery, it is the best place to. Zhujiajiao is located in the Qingpu District of Shanghai. In the past Zhujiajiao was a trading area due to the many canals, which were used to ferry products along in little boats and barges. Zhujiajiao Water Town is about 50 km away from the Bund, Shanghai. I took the subway 90 minutes to get there from downtown Shanghai. Easy walk to old town from train station and I am glad i made this trip! Lots of cool shops, cafes, bars and i also took a gondola ride. Architecture and views were amazing and i spent roughly 6 hours there. Plan one day and enjoy it. The Oriental Pearl Tower has three main full-scope sightseeing spheres. Each of these spheres offers an observation deck. You can enjoy the breathtaking view of Shanghai at different heights. The highest observatory level set at 350 meters above the ground. Although Oriental Pearl Tower is not the tallest observation deck you can visit (that would be Shanghai Center, just a few minutes walk from the Oriental Pearl Tower), this one gave plenty of opportunity to take in views of Shanghai. The glass floor walk was a little unnerving but still cool. I love this tower! If you want to visit a traditional Chinese water town without leaving the city of Shanghai, Qibao is the best place to go. Qibao town is an old Chinese residential area that was built around 1000 years ago. Qibao town is close to a metro station as well as many bus stops. It is located in the center of Minhang District of Shanghai, only 18 kilometers from the downtown area. It can be busy during the weekends and holidays, that’s why I recommend to go there in the middle of the week. They have great xiaolongbao and other tasty street food. If you are visiting Luang Prabang, Laos, and you have some additional time, then you must visit the hidden gem of Luang Prabang, also known as “Nong Khiaw”. Nong Khiaw is a village in Northern Laos, along the Nam Ou river. To visit here, it will be a 3-4 hour drive from the main city of Luang Prabang. There are various transport options, and the one I chosen is a shared mini bus with other tourists. To be honest, it wasn’t an enjoyable ride due to the bumpy roads and how small the mini bus is. But upon reaching the destination, you will forget the “uncomfortable”. The village looks really surreal and because it’s not too “touristy”, many things are kept authentic. The whole village and nature scene are as raw as it is, which to me is really important when visiting such places! The place is really beautiful and there are a few activities which you can do, to further immerse yourself in experiencing the village. I went to Shanghai Happy Valley on Halloween~ The weather is really good, and Happy Valley is located in Songjiang District, Shanghai, a suburb of Shanghai, backed by Sheshan, so the air quality is also excellent! We arrived at the Happy Valley Park at one o’clock in the afternoon. Happy Valley provides free makeup services during Halloween. You can queue up early to try the Halloween makeup~ But~ our whole day experience is still not good! Because there are too many people, every item has to be lined up for nearly an hour. The most popular items even need to make an appointment. It is really too painful to line up to buy even snacks! Haunted House: It is said to be a feature of Happy Valley, but in fact the experience is really based on the benevolent, very general and not scary at all! The Bund has a completely different feeling every time I come here~ The usual route to the Bund is to take the 🚇subway and get off at Nanjing East Road, and then walk to the Bund. Later, I felt that this route was too crowded.
