It was my first ever trip to the East Malaysia, it’s so exciting to finally visit the land below the wind- Sabah. I’m honoured to witness the Mount Kinabalu in Kundasang, the fact that I’m already above 2000m sea level in Kundasang and seeing that even prominent and magnificent mountain is truly a stunning sight to behold. One of the activities to do in Kundasang is definitely to take a thrilling and adventurous ATV ride while enjoying the scenic view of the mountains⛰️. Secondly, take a sunrise climb to Maragang hill and you’ll be amazed by the beautiful sunrise and sea of clouds ☁️ do bring a headlamp and put on a windbreaker as it’s super chilling up there. Last but not least, you must not missed out the Desa Dairy farm which you could enjoy the fresh and yummy yogurt and milk. Also, you can try feeding the cattle with grass and milk. Hounon Ridge Farmstay & Camping is nice place to stay. Event though the road condition to this place quite bad but it is truly amazing place with a great view. Morning wake up with a Kinabalu Mount view is really awesome. This place located quite far from Kundasang town but really worth it. Family trip which requested to cook by themselves also can rent the kitchen and use the tools provided. They also have their own kitchen where we can order food. Last but not least, whoever want to experience camping stay also can rent the tent from owner. The place is very nice, clean and recommended for single, group or family trip. #kinabalu #sabahtrip

The Magellan Resort is a really place to spend your holiday. The resort have plenty facilities that can occupy your day, they have Golf, ballroom, gymnasium, swimming pools, bowls, golf, indoor tennis court and many more. The swimming pools are awesome, just beside the sea so the view is superb! You can also just order a coconut drink and sit down relaxing the whole afternoon near to harbour front. Day 1 on the way to Kundasang Lunch: Sinalau bakas stall Kg Sinalapak. Tried their BBQ wild boar and sticky rice. The smoked meat is palatable and salty, but not recommended to eat in a large quantity as it’s quite fatty and high in sodium. Rm32 for the entire meal. Dinner: BW bus restaurant. A bus themed restaurant, a place suitable to take photos. Their food was great too, tried their Beef burger, carbonara spaghetti and cheesy wedges. All food are top tier and not disappointing at all. Rm64 for the whole meal. Day 2 (Kundasang) Lunch: Anooh coffee. They don’t really offer main dish but has some sandwich and Nasi lemak on the shelves. We grabbed the last both pieces and ordered some cakes and drinks. Personally I love their Strawberry chocolate drink, it’s so rich in chocolate with a hint of strawberry tart flavour. Passion fruit milk is not really my thing. Red velvet cake was so-so but their cheeeecake is meeting my expectation. Spent around rm60++ for this meal. Dinner: deGlass cafe- steamboat rm34.5 per pax 5/10 Portion is appropriate for 2 pax and ingredients are fresh, however the soup is not as flavourful. Plus the selection of sauces is not wide. Went there to only satisfy cravings for a warm steamboat. Day 3 lunch (Kundasang) 神山中餐厅 SS Chinese restaurant We ordered sweet and sour pork with yam, stir-fried sweet potato leaves, sizzling steamed egg with tofu, white rice, lemon tea and water. Food is really yummy but our wallet is bleeding. Total spent Rm104 for the lunch. Day 4 dinner (in KK) 蜀味火锅烧烤 Sichuan private hotpot This hotpot restaurant is what I will recommend to everyone who wants to eat a decent and hearty Chinese hotpot. The soup is flavourful and rich in aroma while the selection of ingredients is wide. We ordered collagen and Mala soup base, both are delicious. Sauces, drinks, desserts are all free flow. Come with empty stomach and go back with a full satisfying tummy. The price is rm53 per pax (not including soup). Twin Island Hopping on Manukan and Sapi Island in Sabah was so much fun! I got to snorkel in the clear blue water, and it was amazing. Manukan Island was calm and peaceful, with soft sandy beaches where I could relax and enjoy the sunshine. Sapi Island, on the other hand, was full of energy and excitement. Snorkeling was easy because the water was clear, and I saw lots of colorful fish and beautiful coral reefs. The boat rides between the islands were really cool too, and I got to see some breathtaking views of the coastline. Overall, it was an awesome adventure, and I had a great time exploring the underwater world and soaking up the sun on the stunning beaches of Manukan and Sapi Island. #islandhopping #manukanisland #sapiisland #snorkelling #sabahtrip

My visit to Bombon Kg. Marakau Fish Spa by the river was quite delightful. At first, I thought it would just be a pool full of fishes. To my surprise, the spa is a river, with tonnes of fishes, in different colors, big and stout, gaping with their mouths wide open, ready for us, tourists to feed them. As I dipped my feet into the water, the feeling of the fish nibbling away at dead skin was both ticklish and oddly satisfying. Surprisingly, after the so-called spa treatment, my feet felt incredibly refreshed, though i feel a bit squeamished throughout. Overall, it was a unique and enjoyable experience that I would recommend to anyone looking for natural fish spa by the river.#fishspa #sabahtrip

The Kawa Kawa River cruise was an amazing experience for me. During the day, I saw probiscus monkeys swinging from tree to tree. Not easy to spot them though, took us an hour trying to search between the trees. After a steamboat seafood dinner at a riverside restaurant, we board on the ferry again, and watched fireflies. Again, it took us some time to spot the fireflies in the dark, but managed to see some. Our cameras couldnt capture any fireflies cause of their subtle blinkings. I love the peacefulness of the river and the beauty of the fireflies. It created a serene atmosphere that I'll never forget. The guide, Ms Angie was really knowledgeable and shared interesting facts about the monkeys and fireflies. She even brought a monkey book! She made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, the Kawa Kawa River cruise was an educational trip. If you love nature and wildlife, I highly recommend it. We had a really awesome time on the Sunset Party Boat in Kota Kinabalu! The sunset was so beautiful, and being on the boat made it even better. There was music playing, and everyone was excited and having fun. The view of the sunset from the boat was amazing. The sky turned all sorts of pretty colors. Keningau is basically rich with green attraction spots. It’s a great treat for nature lovers.
