Located at the heart of Durham City Centre and right by the River Wear, it is definitely something not to miss when you are visiting Durham. As a Norman-style Romanesque architecture, you can find loads of massive pillars in the Durham Cathedral, connecting the arches and the ground, which makes the Cathedral majestic and magnificent. As a graduate from Durham University, Durham Cathedral truly has a place in my heart, as both my matriculation and graduation were held within the Durham Cathedral.
