Jamala Wildlife Lodge
#australiatrip We felt so incredibly fortunate to stay in the room overlooking the lions – it was an absolutely magical experience, truly something special that we'll cherish forever. We adored our tour with John; his knowledge and passion were infectious, and we learned so much from him. Every single staff member we encountered was so warm and welcoming, it made our stay even more enjoyable. The food was absolutely divine! We're already dreaming of our return trip and can't wait to try out all the jungle bungalows. Thank you all for creating such a truly unforgettable experience.
Elements of Byron
#australiatrip We just spent a week at Elements of Byron for our honeymoon. It went above and beyond our expectations and is the best holiday we have ever had. This place is incredible. We were blown away by all the little details, everything is so well thought out we couldn’t flaw it. The amount of spots to explore on the property is incredible. We barely left! The villa was stunning with a comfortable bed and everything you need to stay including a bath tub with bubbles! Both pools are sensational, we spent hours reading, sunbathing and swimming. The staff gave us a lovey hand written card congratulating us on our marriage with a free drink each. The food and drinks on site are wonderful. The buffet breakfast was outstanding and blew us away, it’s worth every cent! The juicer and fresh fruit was the cherry on top. We can’t wait to come back again. It’s to date the coolest experience we have had! Thanks team :)
Q1 Gold Coast - Resort And Spa
#australiatrip Our experience at Q1 was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, everything was sparkling clean and beautifully maintained. We were originally booked for a unit on level 25, but they surprised us with an incredible beachfront unit on level 51 – what a treat! The views were absolutely breathtaking, and waking up to the sunrise over the ocean was unforgettable.
Although room service isn’t available, they made sure to clean the place while we were out, which was a nice touch. The service overall was fantastic – the staff were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay.
The location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of the Gold Coast with everything within easy reach. If you’re looking for luxury, convenience, and spectacular views, Q1 is the perfect choice. We’ll definitely be back!
Shangri-La Sydney
#australiatrip Incredible and memorable are two words that come to mind. We had booked a harbour bridge view room in the Horizon club category with early/late check in and out. When our room was not yet ready, the warm and friendly reception staff member (Saskia) upgraded us to a room that felt like a once in a lifetime experience. We can’t thank her enough for making it such a memorable trip. We ended up in an incredible corner suite with sweeping views from the coast, across the harbour and all the way out to the Blue Mountains. We were so in awe of our room and the spectacular view that we barely picked up our books, rather we enjoyed sitting and chatting while watching the world go by outside. Next time we return, it will be very difficult to book a room now that we have experienced the incredible luxury of a suite.
I highly recommend the Horizon rooms to get access to the Horizon lounge - especially if you are booking a lower category of room without much of a view. This lounge is a calm oasis throughout the day with complimentary drinks (tea, coffee etc) while enjoying the view. At select times you can also have breakfast (decent buffet selection not much smaller than the main buffet downstairs), afternoon tea (lovely scones, biscuits, light sandwiches etc) and canapés (dips, crackers, antipasto and some warm bites, as well as including beer, wine and spirits).
I have stayed here many times before and had a lovely, restful experience; however, this time was such a treat and I cannot wait to return!
Thank you again to the incredible staff for our lovely stay.
A Scenic Escape to Kiama
#australiatrip
Visiting Kiama, a picturesque coastal town in New South Wales, was a refreshing retreat filled with stunning ocean views, rugged cliffs, and charming seaside vibes. The town’s laid-back atmosphere and breathtaking natural beauty made it an ideal destination to slow down and take in the surroundings.
One of the highlights of my visit was witnessing the famous Kiama Blowhole, where powerful waves crashed against the rocky cliffs, sending seawater high into the air. The sound of the rushing water and the cool sea mist made the experience even more exhilarating. Nearby, the Little Blowhole provided a quieter yet equally mesmerizing display, proving that nature’s wonders come in different sizes.
After enjoying the coastal spectacle, I took a leisurely walk along the Kiama Coastal Walk, where rolling green hills met the deep blue of the Pacific Ocean. The walk was peaceful, with panoramic views stretching as far as the eye could see, leading to Bombo Headland, where unique volcanic rock formations stood dramatically against the crashing waves.
For a relaxing break, I stopped by a local café, enjoying a fresh seafood lunch while overlooking the harbor. The town’s warm hospitality and inviting atmosphere made it easy to settle in and savor the moment.
Before leaving, I wandered through Kiama’s historic town center, lined with heritage buildings, boutique shops, and inviting seaside charm. The blend of natural beauty, coastal adventure, and small-town warmth made Kiama a truly memorable getaway.
A Coastal Escape to Narooma
#australiatrip
Visiting Narooma, a charming seaside town on the New South Wales coast, was a refreshing escape filled with stunning ocean views, fresh seafood, and incredible wildlife encounters. The moment I arrived, I was captivated by the town’s relaxed atmosphere and breathtaking turquoise waters, where Montague Island sat in the distance, home to a thriving seal colony.
One of the highlights of my visit was watching the Australian fur seals lazing on the rocks near the Narooma Bar, occasionally diving into the water with effortless grace. Their playful nature made for an unforgettable sight, adding to the town’s coastal charm.
After spending time by the water, I couldn’t resist stopping by a local fish and chip shop for a classic meal. Sitting by the Wagonga Inlet, I enjoyed the crispy, golden fish and freshly cut chips while soaking in the view of boats gently bobbing in the harbor. The fresh sea breeze and peaceful surroundings made the simple meal feel even more special.
Before leaving, I took a leisurely walk along the Mill Bay Boardwalk, where the crystal-clear water revealed schools of fish swimming below. Every step along the wooden path offered a chance to take in Narooma’s untouched beauty, from the rolling waves of the Bar Beach to the lush greenery framing the coastline.
With its friendly small-town atmosphere, stunning natural scenery, and incredible wildlife, Narooma was a perfect stop for a relaxing and memorable coastal getaway.
A Relaxing Day by the Waterfront in Geelong
#australiatrip
Visiting Geelong was a refreshing coastal escape, where the vibrant waterfront, golden sunshine, and laid-back atmosphere made for a perfect day. The moment I arrived, I was greeted by the sight of the Giant Sky Wheel, its bright colors standing out against the clear blue sky. As I took a ride, the sweeping views of Corio Bay were breathtaking, stretching far into the horizon with shimmering waters and sailboats gliding below.
After soaking in the panoramic scenery, I strolled along the Eastern Beach Reserve, where the gentle sea breeze and warm sun made the walk even more enjoyable. The Art Deco-style sea baths and the famous Baywalk Bollards, painted with historical figures, added a unique charm to the promenade. Families relaxed on the grassy lawns, while the sound of waves lapping against the shore created a peaceful ambiance.
Stopping by a waterfront café, I enjoyed a leisurely break with a cool drink, watching as the golden sunlight reflected off the water. As the afternoon passed, I found a quiet spot on the soft sandy beach, letting the sun’s warmth sink in while listening to the distant laughter of people enjoying the seaside.
With its beautiful coastal setting, relaxing vibe, and picture-perfect views, Geelong’s waterfront was a wonderful place to unwind and appreciate the simple joys of a sunny day by the sea.
A Charming Escape to Port Fairy, Victoria
#australiatrip
Visiting Port Fairy felt like stepping into a postcard-perfect seaside town, where history and natural beauty blended effortlessly. The moment I arrived, I was drawn to its heritage streetscapes, charming cottages, and picturesque harbor, all exuding a relaxed coastal charm.
Strolling along Griffiths Island, I followed the scenic trail leading to the Port Fairy Lighthouse, standing proudly against the wild Southern Ocean. The crashing waves and rugged shoreline made for a breathtaking contrast to the town’s quiet, peaceful atmosphere. Seagulls soared overhead as I took in the crisp sea breeze, making the experience feel wonderfully serene.
Back in town, I wandered through boutique shops, cozy cafés, and historic buildings, many of which dated back to the 19th century when Port Fairy thrived as a whaling and fishing port. The wharf area was alive with fishing boats bobbing in the water, a reminder of the town’s deep maritime heritage.
Ending the day with a sunset at East Beach, I watched the golden light reflect on the waves, wrapping up my visit with a sense of pure tranquility. Port Fairy was a hidden gem along the Great Ocean Road, offering a perfect mix of history, nature, and small-town charm.

A Breathtaking View from Marriners Lookout
#australiatrip
Visiting Marriners Lookout near Apollo Bay was an unforgettable experience, offering a sweeping panorama of the Great Ocean Road’s rugged coastline and the vast Southern Ocean. The short yet scenic walk to the lookout led me through grassy slopes dotted with grazing cows, a peaceful contrast to the dramatic views that awaited at the top.
Reaching the summit, I was met with a breathtaking, unobstructed view of Apollo Bay, its crescent-shaped beach stretching along the coast, framed by lush green hills on one side and the endless blue ocean on the other. The waves rolled gently onto the shore, and from this vantage point, the town looked like a picturesque seaside retreat nestled between land and sea.
The fresh ocean breeze and the serene silence of the surroundings made this spot perfect for reflection. Watching paragliders soaring gracefully above the cliffs, I couldn’t help but admire the way the landscape seamlessly blended untamed nature with coastal charm.
As the sun began to set, the golden light bathed the hills and water in warm hues, making the view even more magical. Marriners Lookout wasn’t just a scenic stop—it was a moment of tranquility, a place to truly appreciate the raw beauty of Victoria’s coastline.

Sydney Observatiry
Sydney Observatory, a must-see when you visit Sydney's sunset 🇦🇺
Located in Sydney City and the most visited attraction by Koreans
Sunset is the hottest, but I also recommend the night view 🌉
The observatory, a sunset spot that everyone already knows
A place that takes about 30 minutes to walk from the city
Located on a hill, it's great for a picnic 🧺😎
Recommended for a beer and snacks 👍🏻
If you have a mat, bring it with you 😊

Kakadu National Park
#australiatrip Fantastic park, we spent a week there in a van and I'd say that's enough to visit most of the must see places.
The aboriginal rock art at Ubirr, go for a cruise on alligator river.
Incredible wildlife and plants. Stunning water holes to swim and landscape sights to see.
However many facilities are a bit run down, fuel and food prices are high. An easy drive from Darwin, buy your beer in town cause you won't find any in the park!!
University of Sydney
Why go to see a university? It's pretty, so go see it 😎
A place where you can buy pretty backgrounds, photo spots, and souvenirs, University of Sydney 🇦🇺
A must-see attraction when traveling to Sydney, University of Sydney 🏫
I was thinking, "Why should I go see a university when I'm traveling?" and decided not to go,
but I almost regretted it. There were so many photo spots not only in the buildings but also everywhere.
I wondered if a university could be this pretty. 🥰
They say it's one of the top 10 most beautiful university campuses in the world!
It's a European-style building with an antique feel, and the garden is well-maintained, so it's nice to look around. ⛲️
You don't have to walk around the entire school garden.
The other buildings are ordinary, but the main building at the entrance is a really pretty attraction.
If you take a picture with the entrance to each place in the background, it will come out pretty.

Sydney Harbour National Park Gap Bluff
#australiatrip This is a beautiful part of Sydney. The Gap Bluff Lookout sits high on the rocky hill overlooking the South Pacific Ocean. On your left is the view to North Head and to your right, you are looking south down the coast. The walk explores the coastal cliffs near the Gap on Sydney’s South Head. The main local point for this walk is the view from the rocky bluff. The cliffs makes for spectacular scenery and the views extend from North Head along the coast and peer across the Sydney Harbour to the city. The walk starts from Watson’s Bay and follows a well used footpath all the way. It has easy access by public transportation ie Ferry ⛴️ from Circular Quay and bus 🚌, it’s not difficult to get to. This makes for a wonderful day out and you are not far from the famous Doyle’s Seafood (either the A La Carte Restaurant or the take away) at the Watson’s Bay Ferry Wharf at the bottom of the hill beyond Robertson Park. There are toilet facilities in Robertson Park. I have been here to this lookout a few times now, both on sunny days and cloudy days, either way, it’s still a brilliant view. I would really recommend a visit here. Stunning 😍 👍😍👍
Sydney Harbour Bridge
Sydney's landmark that you can walk across, the Harbour Bridge
Sydney Harbour Bridge Sydney Her Brg
The Harbour Bridge is a landmark that you can't miss when you think of Sydney
Did you know that you can just cross this bridge?
It's a bridge that connects Sydney City and North Sydney,
and it's made so that people can walk across it
The view from above is hard to see because the fence is large, but it's located high up, so the view from below is really cool and beautiful.
The Harbour Bridge bridge feels like you're walking on the sea
The view of the city behind and the view of North Sydney ahead are both beautiful, so if you have time and like walking, I highly recommend it!
Since you're walking to North Sydney, I recommend you also visit the Secret Garden and Luna Park.

Sydney Parramatta
Sydney, Australia's second largest city, but you haven't been there?
What is Parramatta? What is there to see? I prepared a circular course trip to Parramatta in case you'd ask 🚗
Sydney Parramatta
Parramatta, the second largest city in Sydney, is famous for it😉
Why don't you go to the surrounding city of Parramatta while going to the city?
Nothing comes up when you search for it, and since it's not much different from the city, everyone just passes it by!
So I searched hard and visited it on a circular course :)
Actually, it's a city with nothing much to see🤣
A large shopping center and a place where many locals live
But since you've already visited, it's a good course to take a look around
A course that you can see everything in two or three hours if you set aside plenty of time 👍🏻🤍

Kiama Sydney
Attention Sydney travelers who love the ocean 🚨
Kiama with a free natural swimming pool and a mysterious blowhole created by nature 🌊
Kiama, a relatively lesser-known area near Sydney
It is famous as a nearby trip that is good to visit together with Wollongong, but if you love the ocean, Kiama is a place you should definitely visit 👍🏻🤍
It takes an hour and a half by car and three hours by direct subway, so I recommend it as a day trip!
It takes a while, but it is a nearby trip that I highly recommend
It was so beautiful that my mouth dropped as soon as I got off the station and arrived at the ocean 🫢💕
A blowhole where waves surge from the rocks and
A pure white lighthouse that goes well with the blue ocean
A free ocean swimming pool that you can enjoy while looking out at the ocean
Kiama is full of reasons to visit

Watsons Bay, a beach great for picnicking in the park 🌊
Gap Park, the natural landscape of the filming location of the movie Papillon! 🌞
Why a park picnic by the sea?
Watsons Bay, which has a park with a great view right in front of the sea
It is not as famous as Manly or Bondi Beach for tourists,
but Watsons Bay is a beach that locals love very much
The sea is not that big, so it is not a place to enjoy swimming or surfing, 🏖️✨
But the park facing the sea is very wide and big, so it is a great place for a picnic🏝️
The cliffs of Gap Park seen right above Watsons Baby Beach 🌅
They say it is the filming location of the movie Papillon, but I haven't seen Papillon,
but the combination of the cliffs and the coast is beautiful, so it looks like a filming location for a movie.
Watsons Bay and Gap Park are not too far from Sydney City and can be easily visited by ferry or bus.
