Four Girls Mountain, known in Chinese as 'Siguniangshan' (四姑娘山), is located in Xiaojin County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, southwestern China, about 220 kilometers from Chengdu. The Tibetans refer to it as the sacred deity 'Skola,' which means 'Guardian Deity.' The mountain is characterized by its four steep peaks lined up from north to south over a distance of 3.5 kilometers. These four peaks are covered with snow all year round, making them resemble four girls with white scarves on their heads, hence the name 'Four Girls Mountain.' The mountain is situated between the Changping Valley and Haizi Valley. The four peaks have their own names and heights as follows: 1. Ta Gu Glacier 01/11/2024 is incredibly beautiful. I highly recommend everyone to visit at least once. It's truly worth the breathtaking scenery, like stepping into a fairy tale city. There's a café up there that is said to be the highest in the world. The area is covered in snow all year round, and it's very cold but also very beautiful. I recommend wearing thick clothes and not walking too fast as the air is quite thin up there. It's also a good idea to carry a can of oxygen, which is available for purchase at the entrance.
