I recently stayed at this resort and had a wonderful time. The natural environment surrounding the resort is simply breathtaking. Orang Cakap "Cameron Highlands Kluang" so yeah I think YES! Dupe Cameron Highlands but 10min je dari my parent's house My room was clean and new, with all the necessary amenities provided, including drinking water. As a family-oriented resort, the facilities were excellent. I especially appreciated the family-friendly atmosphere and the BBQ facility, although there is room for improvement. Disebabkan my room is loft, my mom kena naik tangga. (2nd floor) The cafe was also a great addition, and the fact that it operates until 9pm is very convenient. The food selection was wide, and I had a great time trying out different dishes. The breakfast basket looked very nice, but unfortunately, the food didn't taste as good as it looked. The noodle was too salty, which was a bit disappointing, as it felt like a waste of good food. I think if they improved this, it was a perfect oh yaaa, please book picnic basket masa check-in ya. And no charges needed. No worries, they will sent the breakfast 8am-9am in your room. Easy, Peasy! For the activities, there are farming workshop, goat/rabbit/chicken/goose feeding, fishing and candle workshop. Other than that, they provided cinema room at night, BBQ area and stargazing. They do sell like alot of different products like your normal breads, mini Swiss roll, cakes and even those cold cream cake with designs! Just nice was fathers day so they even have fathers day designs for it. The banana cake was so soft and moist! Although it mentioned Peking duck in the restaurant name, there were no peking duck and dim sum when we reached a little past 1pm. So instead, we ordered main dishes from the menu. Waited for quite a bit but services were still ok. Dishes come were all not bad especially the XO carrot cake (one of the dim sum dish that was available!) Travelling to Johor Bahru just for hotpot buffet! My bf and I walked past this hotpot store the last time we visited Mid Valley but was too full from our meals so we made another trip back just to try out this! Attracted by its very unique design and interior fitting is Bao Jun Hot Pot with a wide variety of ingredients and very affordable pricing! Costs us 79.90rm for weekend dinner with a dining time of 1.5hours. We had the mala and tomato soup base which were flavourful and super addictive! Free flow of vegetables, processed food, meat and seafood, as well as drinks, desserts and also ice cream 🍨 ! Meat quality was good as well. Would definitely return back again for another round of hotpot buffet! Finally get to travel to Johor Bahru after a two years wait since the pandemic started 🥳 So much misses for this place across the border of SG, of course we had to take some leave for a 3D2N staycation! We booked the Grand Paragon hotel which is just a stone’s throw away from the KSL shopping mall, which Singaporeans frequent! It was a cosy hotel at a relatively affordable price at $46 per night! We visited most of the megamalls during our 3 days there - Paradigm Mall, Mid Valley Southkey, Aeon Tebrau as well as Toppen Mall, and the nearer malls such as KSL and City Square. Toppen Mall is the mall which is linked to IKEA. Do note that there is also a pasar malam near KSL on every Mondays, 5pm onwards! A lot of yummy foodies there yums yums 😋 There is also a new “minimart” Avery Day which recently opened opposite KSL with a variety of Chinese, Japanese, Korean and others snacks and drinks 🍹 🍫🍰🧁🍩 Also visited one of the cafe for a hearty breakfast on our second day at A Bread and Coffee Place. It was a small but comfortable cafe with very very affordable and delectable breakfast sets and coffee ☕️ Overall it was a wonderful trip after missing the chance to travel and I cannot wait for the next trip already!! 😌😌😌 #staycation #johorbahru #johortrip

KSL hotel is one of the most popular hotel in Johor. Stayed there for 2 nights . The room is spacious and swimming pool has dinosaur activity park which what I like about. The view from the guest room is good where u can get to see the view of Johor district. Besides that this hotel has many facilities such as gym, spa, entertainment centre, game machines etc. Right below this hotel is one of the biggest shopping mall name KSL Mall . This mall sells many phone accessories, mobile phones, soft toys, ladies/Men wear, shoes, bags at a bargain price . Various restaurants, cafes , Tesco supermarket and street food there. Many public buses, shuttle bus, taxi and various private hired cars available . Best place to visit in Johor Bahru Malaysia. Hidden gem located at Mount Austin, The oysters are not fishy and super delicious. Great place for an oyster fix and definitely value for money. RM30 for a dozen oysters raw or cooked. They have a number of different flavours for cooked ones, personally recommend the Thai Tom yum one, it is really the bomb. Name of the shop is Wowkao Barbeque Food at Mount Austin. #johortrip #jb

Getting there: Gunung Ledang National Park lies just inside Johor's border with Melaka state, about 30 km from the town of Muar. I would recommend to go by car. Highlights: The mountain is 1276m high. It is not an easy hike. You will need to take around 5-6 hours to hike to the summit. There are some steep rocky faces to negotiate with the aid of ropes. If you are not a frequent hiker, you may try the other trail as well. Personally I have taken the 20 minute trek along stone pathways to the Puteri Waterfalls. It is a cascade of about 60m with pools and a pleasant picnic and bathing area further downstream. 🤩 Entrance: To enter the park at the Gunung Ledang Resort entrance you have to pay RM2 per car and RM1 per person.
