📍 Casa Battlo is also known as the House of Bones and looks like something out of a fairytale. The vibrant colours are like from the ocean, along with the flowing structure.

The Museu Nacional d’Art de Catalunya is located at the end of Avinguda de la Reina Maria Cristina. It is housed in the Palau Nacional, a large Italian style building dating back to 1929. The incredible architecture and beautiful surroundings combine to make a wonderful photo opportunity! 📸
Inside there is an outstanding collection of romanesque church paintings and an many artworks with impressive history of up to 1000 years.
🎫 Admission is free every Saturday from 3pm and every first Sunday of the month!
🎫 At other times, tickets are €12 for general admission, or €2 to just enter the building and see the rooftop.

The Sagrada Familia is the largest unfinished church in the world. It was designed by Catalan architect Gaudi, with construction starting in 1882 and is still being built today.
Despite being unfinished, it is a major landmark in Barcelona and is absolutely worth visiting. It is recognised as a UNESCO world heritage site and will be 170 metres tall when completed. The architecture and design of the building was revolutionary for its time and it’s incredible to see in real life today.
🎫 Tickets must be booked online in advance. They cost €26 to €30 per person with an audio guide, or up to €40 if you want the guided tour and towers access.

🎫 A general ticket costs €10, or it is €22 with a guided tour.
As you enter the park, there are intricately designed buildings and staircases, with vibrant colours and patterns. The entire place is a photoshoot waiting to happen! From the terrace at the top, there are wonderful city views of Barcelona. I really enjoyed exploring the park and would recommend spending at least 1-2 hours here!

Arc de Triomf is a memorial arch, originally built as the main entrance for the 1888 World Fair. With its intricate design and red bricks, it is very photogenic and makes a great photo location. When I visited, there was someone playing with bubbles and I managed to get a unique photo with the arch and the bubbles together!
🚇 Take the metro to Arc de Triomf station. There are also bus stops nearby.

The roof is accessible with a pre-booked ticket online. Since it is one of the tallest buildings in the Gothic Quarter, there are wonderful 360° views of the area.
⏰ Plan ahead and it is recommended to take at least 90 minutes to explore the full interior and exterior of the cathedral.

This winter, I had the privilege of exploring Casa Batlló in Barcelona, and it left an indelible mark on my travel memories. The chilly air outside only heightened the warmth of the experience within those architecturally enchanting walls. Gazing at the intricacies of Gaudí's design while surrounded by the cozy, festive atmosphere of Barcelona in winter created a truly magical blend. From the captivating play of light on the mosaic tiles to the timeless elegance of each room, my visit to Casa Batlló was a winter journey filled with awe and appreciation for the artistry that defines this iconic landmark.

barcelona is always a good idea
#barcelona i have visited Barcelona two times in less than a month. i loved it so much. its so vibrant and so many young people walking on the street. it is a city that has everything, beautiful architecture, vibrant nightlife, not so bad beaches and amazing museums (would definitely recommend National museum of Catalonia' Art, Picasso' Museum and Sagrada Familia).
